When did this idea of Jesus being black ever come to be? forgive my ignorance but i just dont get it.

He came from the middle east. Im sure he had a nice tan going but so do most people in that part of the hell. and so do i every summer.

now to this story. Im also getting sick of the Obama supporters trying to compare Wright to people like Rod Parsley or John Hagee. these pastors do not preach hate or racism. some call them homophobes? get real. they are church pastors and of course they teach that homosexuality is wrong. This whole debate is wrong. This church that Obama attends is far from ‘Mainstream’

All over Philadelphia they have walls painted with those types pictured above, from ancient to modern times. Supposed to curb graffitti. But, the thing that kills me they’re all in these poses of such grandeur and nobility. The descendents of Nubian royalty in a foreign land.

So, let me get this straight …

Jesus was a Jew …

When Mel Gibson released “The Passion” the Jewish talkingheads (some) and critics had a fit because Gibson insisted on depicting Him and fellow Jews with [defined] physical/facial characteristics for the region …

But now it’s okay to depict Jesus as an ethnicity NOT prevalent to the area at the time (nor do I think it is such to this day) of “African roots”?
