Frightmare: Pelosi Bucking To Be Hussein’s VP
The thought has crossed my mind a few times, but was too frightful to say anything.
You know, don’t even say something like that, let alone think it.
It crossed my mind when I posted the Pelosi/China story this morning. Then, lo and behold, I’m perusing my usual web haunts looking for all the news the you great Dollard Readers expect us to bring you and…BAM!
There it was…Zardoz News had it. As a side note, the years 1973-1977 we lived in downtown Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii (pop. 3000) across the street from the Roxy theater and my mother would send us to the movies every single night while she worked at a restaurant next door. I saw every grind house and Shaw Brothers Kung Fu flick ever made in those years, including that forgettable Sean Connery epic “Zardoz”…the name coming from a sacred book these futuristic people worshipped, or something like that. It was actually “The Wizard of Oz” but being so old, the title looked like this to the: ” zard Oz”…
That and $3.50 will get you a mocha at your local espresso drive-thru.

Ask yourself this question. Is Nancy Pelosi positioning herself for a role as Vice President on an Obama ticket?? If you spend a few moments on this question you may uncover some data points that may explain some of her recent behavior and public comments:
1) She has now openly endorsed Sen. Obama while at the same time openly attempting to dispell any hope of a dream ticket of Obama and Clinton.
2) She is now asserting herself more visibly and actively in international affairs, the traditional role of the Vice President, as can be observed in her comments about China’s suppression of riots in Tibet.
We suspect that Nancy Pelosi is once again sticking her nose in foreign policy to further her own political aspirations with little coordination or regard to the wishes of the State Department and any diplomacy that may be occurring behind the scenes on the Tibet / China issue…
Could it be she sees herself, not Hillary ClintonClinton-and-Obama-Economic-Plans Mar-08 as the woman on that “Dream Ticket” ?? Has she convinced Howard Dean and the DNC that she is more beloved with national voters than Hillary Clinton will ever be?
Don’t be surprised to see the Obama / Clinton division deepen and Nancy Pelosi attempt to fuel it and exploit it for herself in the coming months. Afterall… We suspect that she probably sees an opportunity that if she plays her cards right, SHE and not Hillary, might in fact not only be the first woman Vice President but also the first woman President in the U.S. after the first black President’s term is up.

March 23rd, 2008 at 5:33 pmI am telling you … That scene in the last ALIEN movie “RESSURECTION” (where Ripley is an ALIEN/human hybrid clone of herself) … Anyhow, the evil company scientist (played by Brad Dourif0 has three of the creatures together in a safety-glass holding chamber as he observes them and … yeah, tortures them into submission … anyhow, two of the Aliens begin to tear into the third Alien, and its acid-for-blood eats through the chamber floor and the two escape together (much to the horror of the dumb-assed scientists) … And, of course, you can figure the rest … they wreck the joint and kill everybody … blah-blah-blah.
Anyhow, this reminds me of that movie scene … yeah.
