Gathering Of Eagles To Muster At Times Square

Gathering of Eagles is calling all Eagles and supporters in the Northeast to join them as they stand in support of the troops stationed there.

They will gather at 12:30 PM EST and stay until 4:00 PM this Saturday, March 8th in Times Square to serve notice that our troops do not cut and run, and neither do we.

This from GOE Director Chris Hill:

We recognize that most of you do not live within easy driving distance of NYC, so we are asking that everyone else don your military or patriotic garb and visit your local recruiter station. It is important for them to know we love and respect them, and will stand with them always.

New York City has, once again, been the victim of terrorism; this time of the homegrown brand it appears. This despicable act can be laid right at the feet of the vehement anti-American groups we have countered so often. They have made it okay in the minds of some to attack recruiter stations and deface our war memorials.

We must not allow this to continue!

I have contacted law enforcement agencies in several of the cities where recruiter stations have been previously targeted. They assure me that security has been stepped up.

Respectfully, that is not enough. We must show support publicly and proudly for our brothers and sisters in uniform.

This is our line in the sand. This nonsense will stop.

Well, I guess I have to catch a train tomorrow. Chris, I’ll be right up.

God Bless them and every man that has wore a uniform.

I’ll be at Times Square, proudly wearing my Jihadi Killer gear. Look for the big redheaded guy. I’ll probably be standing in a pool of hippie blood, or whatever it is that flows through their veins. Bongwater, maybe?

  5. John Cunningham

ticticboom, my train arrives at 11.55, hope to run into you.

ticticboom, I checked the Weather Channel, it might be a rain event. Dress accordingly, but, then it’s not as if there’s no place to go in Times Square to “warm up”.

    @John Cunningham:

I’m used to standing in the rain. I’ll wear my boonie hat and stick a raincoat in my backback.

There’s an ESPN Zone right on 42, and plenty of bars. I usually avoid the Times Square area when I’m drinking, because of the tourist prices, but I’ll make an exception, seeing how it’s for a good cause.

Here’s a great story about the NYPD. You know how in Berkeley, hippies assaulted anyone trying to get into the recruiting station while the cops just stood there and said they were ‘neutral’? Well, the city’s getting sued based on a case in New York. Some piece of shit was burning an American flag and got his ass kicked. He sued the NYPD for not protecting him, and won. So we’re turning their own tactics on them.

‘Turnabout is fair play’ is another of those maxims Leftists never seem to have learned, judging by their reaction. I still remember the look of shock on the faces of many of the hippies, especially the older ones, at GOE. It never once occured to them that anyone would counter-protest. They figured since everyone else had jobs and actual lives, they were free to gather and do whatever they wanted.

I once told a punk (a real punk, piercings, tattoos, tattered clothes) that if he got what he wanted, a world where he could do whatever he pleased, that would me I could do whatever I pleased. And he really, really didn’t want to live in that world.

ticticboom, can’t wait. Just spoke to Chris Hill, he’ll be there also.
