Was supposed to have a follow-up with the eye Dr. three weeks ago, but have been out of town and missed it. Getting on a plane to see him finally today. Thing is, every time I’ve gone so far, they’ve asked me if I’ve been seeing any little green lights. “Nope” has always been the answer, but, about 5 days ago I started to see them, so I’m a little concerned. Also, I have this heave blob of oil embedded in my eye to keep the retina pressed down so it will re-attach, and I’m not sure if I was supposed to have it removed already. So….today I should learn a lot about the state of things, eye-wise…
Anybody notice that since Rev. Wright’s tapes started airing you hear news people tossing out the words “nigger” and “Goddamn” like they’ve been doing it for years….I honestly cant’ remember ever having heard journalists toss out those words like it’s nothing, and now they do it with the same as as using basic pronouns.
Oh, and several new Jihadikiller shirt designs, and bumper stickers, mugs, and sets will be up by next week. I just approved a new design Iggy sent me. And again, y’all, It costs monthly server bills, design bills to Chad ( and he deserves to be paid, that boy puts tons of hours in, and tons of valuable man hours on the parts of many people to keep this site going, so any little help you can ever give is greatly appreciated. If everybody who reads this today could give just 1 to 5 dollars, it would be extremely helpful. Don’t be intimidated by the Paypal concept, it’s irrelevant. It’s the same as buying anything online with a credit card even if you don’t have a paypal account - with the added bonus that Paypal is as world-class secure as it gets. Believe me, I hate fucking asking as much as you hate being asked, but the good news we are on a massive traffic upswing and are getting regularly linked by the big boys. Our influence, grows and grows, and outside of the donation thing and on to the comment thing, you should all know you enjoy quite a big audience if there’s something you want to say in the comments. And this site is definitely read by some very big opinion makers and journalists. You never know who you may be having the opportunity to influence if you’ve got something important to say. Take the time. You’d be surprised how every individual can make some difference by just making a little effort.

Cornflake in shape of Illinois fetches $200,000 bid Ebay…but ebay removed it because if violated their “food” policy
The “Great Illinois Corn Flake” auction has been yanked from the eBay site, but it has touched off something of a national phenomenon.
Last week, two sisters from Chesapeake — Emily and Melissa McIntire, ages 15 and 23 — launched an auction in which they were selling a piece of Kellogg’s Frosted Flake cereal that bore an indisputable resemblance to the outline of the staet of Illinois. By Sunday, bidding had reached the $50 range, and the offbeat auction began to draw media attention.
That’s when things got crazy.
Early this week, bids began to flood in — all of them almost certainly fraudulent — pushing the auction price to more than $200,000.
Then, last night, eBay pulled the auction, citing violations of the site’s rules about selling food.

The haters and race-profiteers of the black community that he has embraced throughout his life are proving that racism and hating work no better for the black community than for the white. You are all reaping what you have sown.

Who thinks what about Kirsten Powers? I find her less offensive and full of shit ( remember I said less, not entirely) than most of the rest of the Lefties on there, and she sure has got some sexiness goin’ or her.
Something else really dramatic has happened with that other “corn flake” from Illinois.
I think I heard a sonic boom yesterday as his star fell from the heavens!
March 19th, 2008 at 4:13 amHey Pat, Hope all goes well with your eye today. Will be praying for you.
Also, will send what I can right now to help out. I am glad the site has grown so much and has widespread attention.
Looking forward to seeing the new YA designs by Ig too.
March 19th, 2008 at 5:16 amGood morning, Dave … I mean, Pat …
Hope the eye news is good. Hey, unless I missed it, you never did explain how the eye was damaged in the first place. Have something to do with your time in Iraq?
Yes, the MSM seems to be loving the “in your face FCC” freedom of late regarding the use of certain words NOT commonly accepted for airing. Kind of like watching them having dildo-induced orgasms … Seems the [dildoes] involved are Hussein and his pastor.
The thing about this whole Rev. Wright shit-storm is NO investigative reporter or journalist dug this up … The Wright videos [just] showed up on youtube. For some reason I seem to smell Clinton slime all over it.
And, if this doesn’t work against her political rival, and right now it appears to be working in his falling polls, I can only wonder what else the Clinton Crime Machine has up their sleeve for B-HO. How far would/will they go to move this idiot out of [her] way?
$200,000 for a/one corn flake? Damn! I said you’d see the price of corn based food products go up with the advent of ethanol … but that is outrageous!
March 19th, 2008 at 5:27 amPat,
You scare the hell out of me with that “seeing little green lights”.
I know, we all know how you’ve and still are working your but off for YA. (Once again bowing my head, being very humble). But for pete-sake, this retina-trouble is not something to take on the easy-side dude!
I’ll just start praying now and will keep an eye on “Deep thoughts” ’till further news.

I was just about to post an inquiry as to your conditions down there on the southern three corners.
Flood warnings up here, but we’re out of the overflow range of local river and creeks. Just mud, mud, mud … Temps due to fall this afternoon and tonight as a cold front comes in and turns the precipitation over to about an inch of snow.
Sorry to hear about your neighbor. It’s been a tough winter.
You stay safe and keep in touch, buddy.

I had an MRI scheduled for TBI, but cancelled it due to the eye surgery. Going to reset for next week as well. Thank you for asking.
March 19th, 2008 at 2:51 pmWhat was the emergency surgery all about Pat?
I guess they took the oil out — was it necessary to put more in?
Did the doc explain what the green lights were all about? I tried searching that on the web and most sources pointed to neurological issues. The only thing I found connecting green lights with the eye wss testing methods and cones in the back of the eye that allows visualizing different colors.
Basically…any new info?
March 19th, 2008 at 4:56 pmPhilNBlanx
I could be wrong, but I think Pat’s doc had to do emergency surgery on another patient, hence he didn’t examine Pat today.

March 19th, 2008 at 9:09 pmGod’s sake Pat, I assumed your eye problem was from the IED in Iraq! I hear it’s somewhat common to detach a retina after a period of time after something like that, as is shooting a Dangerous game caliber rifle (.375 H&H on up) too much if you don’t have shoulders like a NFL linebacker.
Kinda ironic eh, getting blown up, then a kid’s toenail?

I fuckin’ love smokers. I fuckin’ really want to go to town with Kirsten Powers. That’s my big TMI confession of the day.
On the whole Fox News babe thing, I’ll also say the following two things.
Julie Banderas wins hands-down the “coolest chick based on personality” award. Thing is, she actually has this really curly-ass hair where when you see her with it, she’s looking miles from as hot as she does after she straigtens that shit out.
Courtney Friel wins the “rooting for the underdog, cool chick” award. She’s got “hot airhead” written all over her, but her absolute tenaciousness to succeed at her chosen profession combined with an ability to stay classy instead of crossing over the razor-thin line of bimbosity, has me rooting for her. She has a good bit of superhot and not too smart chick thing going, and her efforts to come across intelligent despite it, her occasional mispronunciation of multisyllabic words is so cute that she melts my heart a little and has me rooting for her. She’s a great example of real all-American determination to succeed, and to escape the box of “she’s only on ‘cos she’s hot” that most girls like her get boxed into. She gives it her all, and keeps herself from being dismissed as a total lightweight. And she doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in her body.
I admire that kind of determination and focus in people. As well as boobs and legs and face like that on a chick.
March 19th, 2008 at 10:05 pmJeanet -
You always make my fuckin day. Write us all some more essays, girlie, you got the gift, and you’ve got the right thinking.
March 19th, 2008 at 10:09 pmMs. Powers is freakin’ hot. And if she does smoke, cool. That means I ain’t gotta quit. WOOHOO!
While both channels of Fox definately win the babe density award, Robin Meade on Headline News still takes the cake. Short petite red-head with great flotation devices? Man, somethin’ this scotsman just can’t ignore.
Of course that chick from the Mercury commercials ain’t no slacker either.

March 20th, 2008 at 5:46 amThe Iraq war fatalities vs US battle fatalities chart really puts things into perspective. I mean one American life lost is regrettable but these are single battles vs an entire war so far. crazy to imagine the battle of the bulge in todays terms, 19,276. band of brothers really brought that battle to life. Operation watch on the Rhine is what the Germans called it. Battles of the Ardennes
Kurt -
I agree.
D-Day ALONE was off the charts in military KIA disasters … Should we have thrown up our hands and just surrendered to the Germans right there on the beaches.
And look at Iwo Jima … and that was after just days … Surrender to the Japanese?
The Bulge numbers are some of the most dramatic. These were troops who went into that winter-cloaked forrest without proper clothing, food, ammo, or weapons … not to mention cut-off most of the time from re-supply and hospital set-ups … that were also lacking in crucial supplies.
I agree … just one precious American life is to be treated as sacramental, and not just some expendable number in a body count. Which is WHY I hate discussing this subject more than talking about anyother subject … I am forced to play into the “numbers” debate.

March 20th, 2008 at 6:57 amRE the KIA count.
The perspective of many Americans on the Iraqi war is incomplete and distorted by the media. Part of that blame is on the executive branch, IE Commander in Chief in his communication to the nation. The leftist lapdogs have used this lack of info to step in with their version.
Weekly or Monthly broadcasts should have/be given out regarding actions and events in the war in Iraq and globally. IE a hotspot report on activities in Iraq and other areas showing infection and violence like Somolia, the Philippines, the ’stans and more. Battle victories reported. This war’s progress is not easily defined since it is not directed at a nation state with clear fronts, but then that is even more reason to improve communication to the population. We have more than wally cronkite telling us the war is lost, we have senate and house ‘leaders’ and presidential candidates telling the nation the war is lost.
