If men were born knowing things, instead of having to figure the out, life would be boring.

Some quick back-up, increased you missed any.

In case you haven’t noticed, all hell has broken out in Southern Iraq and Baghdad. We are facing a showdown between Iranian-backed Shiite militias, and Mahdi Army militias, with Mookie hiding his fat, cowardly, useless, psychopathic ass in Iran. The claims as to whether or not the Mahdi Army elements are fighting with his blessing and/or orders, or are strictly acting in “renegade” fashion, remain unclear. But watch this story like a hawk, because it is the biggest and most important event in Iraq since the Sunni Awakening. Maliki, for his part, has been talking tough and supervising the battle for Basra directly from within the city, but already he has extended the deadline for the militias to turn in their weapons, and is looking like he will agree to the Arabs favorite tactic to regroup and resupply when they are on the verge of defeat: the ceasefire.

A very prominent General in Iraq has given me a very calm assessment of the situation there:
“Sadr’s boys are coming out of hibernation. Mosul is the only real place where AQI is and apparently Basrah is now acting up but only ISF
are fighting that fight (with our Air in support).”

Fuckin’ Yon’s all the way up in Ninevah so he just told me he had nothing direct to report on all this…

A moment of prayer, please. And a moment of reflection on what passes for humanity in this world. I’ve seen as bad from terrorists.

Fuck Liveleak all to hell. The owner pays his rent and buys his food off of the blood money of Jihadi videos, made by terrorists and showing the death and dismemberment of his fellow Brits, American Marines and soldiers, and innnocents of all other types. He had, and has, no problem showing them, and profiting from them. But he runs and hides and censors an anti-Jihad film. He is both coward and scum, and after much suffering here on earth, I hope he burns in hell. More to follow…

Sunday Talk Show Tipsheet
We are “struggling” with already the fourth government with Balkenende as prime-minister.
I always refere to him as BakEllende; in plain English;”Loads of shit”.
If I’d make a list from all the shit that came from these governments, I could fill many pages.
March 28th, 2008 at 2:06 am“If men were born knowing things, instead of having to figure the out, life would be boring.”
Very true words.. very true. Some people figure things out faster than others. Some don’t let life show them the lessons and never figure it out.
March 28th, 2008 at 6:18 amI have always said I will figure this all out when I am 6 feet under.
…..
Glad to see this fight against mookie now, it has to be done before the election.
March 28th, 2008 at 6:58 amI worry about Malarky’s motives here-Shiite on Shiite? Malarky’s too close to the psycho in Iran for comfort. This thing may never be a decisive battle (how many battles among arabs/persians are?) but just a gang turf war over who gets to “tax” the oil flowing through Basra. I’m waiting for the “deal” to be struck and for Malarky to go back to Bagdad and wait for another Shiite love fest with Ahmadinejad
March 28th, 2008 at 7:31 amGod bless Jayci Yaeger. She passed away this morning…

March 28th, 2008 at 8:04 amI pray that the Lord has embraced Jayci.
……………..
Those that felt it was just tough luck that she was denied her final wishes are empty souls. God will but I won’t.
March 28th, 2008 at 8:16 amIronic that this scumbag’s last name should be Moneymaker. I don’t understand the mentality of people that want to purposely defraud the men and women in uniform that fight for this country’s freedom. One thing is for certain, he’s got a spot in the eighth circle of hell for his actions.
March 28th, 2008 at 9:08 amJust wanted to drop a little “after action report” here. The VFF National Heroes Tour visit to St Louis was a great success and everyone that attended was glad they did. The only thing I kept hearing was, “I wish more people could hear this”! Listening to David Bellavia I think I have some sense of how Pat must feel with his Marines. It was a real “hem of his garment” moment. Yes I wore my Jihadi Killer shirt but no, I didn’t get on TV. Ah well.
My buddy Jim has great coverage here:

thx for the update TB =)
March 28th, 2008 at 9:44 am…and get this, their super awesome tour bus….
March 28th, 2008 at 10:02 amused to say Fred Thompson for President on the side of it. I almost cried. Almost.
What a great campain ad! I thought the clips showing describing his ordeal and then coming home from Vietnam were very poignant. The Winston Churchill and Teddy Roosevelt clips were a very nice touch as well.
On that note, I feel like posting one of my favorite Churchill quotes.
“Tyranny is our foe, whatever trappings or disguise it wears, whatever language it speaks, be it external or internal, we must forever be on our guard, ever mobilised, ever vigilant, always ready to spring at its throat. In all this, we march together. Not only do we march and strive shoulder to shoulder at this moment under the fire of the enemy on the fields of war or in the air, but also in those realms of thought which are consecrated to the rights and the dignity of man.”
March 28th, 2008 at 1:58 pm@1:55 P.M.
I’d love to hear Obama and Clinton’s response to that ad…yeah I know it’s not going to happen, but a guy can dream.
Rush was going after Obama today calling him a “Carnival Barker”, he’d say whatever it takes to get that particular group of people in front of him at the time, to come into his carnival tent, no matter how nonsensical or dangerous for America his words were.
“Carnival Barker”
March 28th, 2008 at 3:05 pmre that ad, he gets it on the war against islam (oh sorry, I meant ‘war on terror’ the politically correct phrase for the war against islamic aggression.)
This alone is reason to vote for him. I believe he will not let the lives this nation has given to be wasted or forgotten.
This is really militant. I like it.
March 28th, 2008 at 7:51 pmthanks for the Sunday tips, but I still miss Brinkley.
March 28th, 2008 at 8:32 pmI remember seeing that McCain ad the first time it made its rounds on here. I love it. its definitely John McCains battle cry. I have no doubt in my mind that he will keep up the fight, maybe even harder than President GWB has it right now. afterall it was MC who called for the surge to begin with. He will make a great president, fucked up once on immigration and had to have learned his lesson and who his real friends are during this campaign too.
Pat
March 28th, 2008 at 9:54 pmyour summary of the liveleak owner. perfect. that site has pissed me off for a long time now showing all the jihadi videos to begin with, and now pulling Fitna for getting threats is like spitting in all of our faces.
The Sunday tips
Watching CIA director, Gen. Michael Hayden make the host of “Meet the Press” (who ever that poor soul will be) look like a moron will be as fun as that program will get.
Lib. Charlie Rose had the General on for two full hours and I was smiling the entire time, Rose didn’t have a chance and more or less surrendered during the 2nd hour
I don’t know what Gen. Michael Hayden’s IQ is, I imagine it’s off the chart as is Condi’s, and he’s a much better speaker / interview than Condi is.
Pat, Thank you for the heads up.
March 29th, 2008 at 1:36 amI’m all for fighting the good fight when action is called for, but the video trying to not-so-subtly draw comparisons between McCain and Churchhill, or McCain and Roosavelt, is comical at best.
McCain is a decent guy. He has served his country and done some good things in Congress (including campaign reform), and he deserves respect for that. But in no way, shape or form is he comparable to those two gentlemen. Know propaganda when you see it, folks. Both parties use it, ad nauseum.
Cheers,
