Ohio Won’t Prosecute Rush Limbaugh
“Because lying through your teeth and being stupid isn’t a crime.”
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office must be full of left wing liberal Democrats, eh?
“We have no intention of prosecuting Rush Limbaugh because lying through your teeth and being stupid isn’t a crime,” said Leo Jennings, a spokesman for Democratic Attorney General Marc Dann.
When asked whether she has concerns about what Limbaugh did, Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, a Democrat,(Woops! I guess I was right!) replied, “I think it’s very bad form, but I think most voters are intelligent enough to make their own decisions.”
Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” in Ohio, Pennsylvania and other states holding presidential primaries is designed to help presumptive Republican nominee John McCain win the Nov. 4 election.
The idea is to encourage Republicans in those states to vote for Hillary Clinton as a way to prolong the Democratic fight for the nomination with Barack Obama, possibly making it more difficult for Democrats to unite in the fall.
Some critics have complained that Limbaugh is improperly encouraging voters to break the law.
In Ohio, party-switchers are supposed to sign a form attesting, under penalty of election falsification — a felony — that they support the principles of the party whose ballot they are obtaining.
But Jennings said it would be difficult to prosecute anyone because they also have constitutionally protected freedom of speech and it’s hard to prove voter intent.
“You can’t just make the assumption that someone is lying,” Jennings said.
Neither Limbaugh nor a spokesman could be reached, but Limbaugh has a transcript posted on his Web site addressing listeners concerned about being charged with voter fraud.
“I wouldn’t worry about it,” Limbaugh said. “Look at this as a badge of honor, ladies and gentlemen. If anybody gets indicted, if anybody has to go jail, it will be me — and I’ll do my program from jail for the short amount of time I will be there before I am excused and the charges dismissed.
“I had the temerity, ladies and gentlemen, to tinker with a tradition, a liberal Democrat tradition: voter manipulation.”
(Columbus Dispatch)
It’s only an issue when Republicans do it huh Mr Lawyer/Prosecutor Nifong-wannabee? Of course it is.
The Dhimoids pulled that same trick with McCain. Now the tables are turned and the Dhimoids are crying foul.
Go home to your mommies Dhimis. Maybe she’ll remind you of how special you are and give you some kleenex to dry your crocodile tears with.
March 28th, 2008 at 6:06 pmHey Dann,
March 28th, 2008 at 6:08 pmSTFU you jerk.
um, I think it’s “Dan” with one “n”. lolz @ Rush. At least someone on our side has the stones to take it to the Libs.
March 28th, 2008 at 6:14 pm“Because lying through your teeth and being stupid isn’t a crime.”
Boy, isn’t that the truth. Cuz if it was a crime, libtards like the Ohio AG, would surely rot in prison.
March 28th, 2008 at 6:16 pmDC, et al . . .
Wow! Talk about un-American! You guys pretty well take the cake. You “men” can’t even be gracious in VICTORY?!
Sigh . . . sad, sad, sad.
Few people do as much lying as the fat junkie Limbaugh, but then again he’s a Political Commentator, so that pretty much goes with the territory. (Right Wing and Left Wing Political Commentators are basically all liars).
You know, being an American used to mean that you took it as YOUR responsibility to stand up for the expression RIGHTS of those Americans you DISAGREE with the most! I constantly advocate for the RIGHTS of ALL Americans, including Mr. Limbaugh, Mr. Hannity, Mr. O’Reilly, Mr. Scarbourough, Mr. Wallace (Chris), Mr. Hume, etc., etc., people I find abhorrent and who disgust me.
I find most things they say to be half truths and downright disgusting. That is simply my opinion, and opinions are by there very nature subjective.
However, I cheer the fact that we have a country where they can say and think what they want without fear of punishment. Which seems to be the case here. Are you disappointed that the “Libtard AG” didn’t try to pillory Mr. Limbaugh?
We’ll see if this isn’t censored or spiked by the web site owner who seems to feel free speech is anathema unless it’s in lock step with his views.
March 28th, 2008 at 7:28 pmMarc Stockwell-Monitz
You talking to me or the Ohio AG?
If you’re talking to me. You’ll have to make my 6′2 230 lb ass shutup.
March 28th, 2008 at 7:30 pmSamantha C:
You must not listen very well to commentators or talking heads,; cause they are all NOT the same. The equivalency argument is a nice little game that libs play all the time. They equate bad with good or good with bad in order to give some percieved weight to their otherwise pathethic arguments.
Air America was trash. Talk radio in general is not. The reason why talk radio is so popular and Air America is not, is because talk radio (Conservative) is one of the few places that the truth is told. Without it Shamnisty would have passed. Without it, this war would be reported by the likes of Air America and it’s version of Walter Cronkite…and we’d be looking at another 1968…instead of victory.
Talk radio outed Kerry, Sharpton, Wrong Rev Wright, Hillary
and Bill. Talk radio outed Murtha and his lying about our Marines…and continues to call out the Dhimoids and their lying ass selves.
And now one talk radio person gave the Dhimoids a taste of their own medicine. But it’s OK for them?
Don’t think so. I’m sick of the double-standard in the media. If the Dhimoids don’t like playing rough, then they should pack up their little red wagons and go home. But if they want a fight? Then I say give it to them. Talk radio does that every day.
March 28th, 2008 at 7:42 pmMarc Sockwell-Monitz:
Oh and PS. You ain’t the only one who lives and breathes history slick…only I haven’t written a book on it…yet.
And my family got here in 1558. French-German and American Indian heritage. 1/3 of each.
So pardon me if I’m not impressed.
March 28th, 2008 at 7:54 pmInfidel Dan, you are seriously out of line.
Marc was very much obviously speaking of the Democratic Attorney General Marc Dann. Didn’t you notice the obvious difference in the way Marc called out the name “Dann”?
March 28th, 2008 at 7:59 pmMaybe you didn’t read the accompanying text that came with the photo.
Chill a bit, take a pill…
Oh, and 1/3 times 2 = 2/3rds…what’s the other third? Indigenous dickhead?
My dear Samantha C…
March 28th, 2008 at 8:11 pmOpinions are like assholes, everyone’s got one. Yours are insignificant and without merit.
@Marc Stockwell-Monitz
Ok. Dhengis was right. I misunderstood your comments so I apologize.
@Dhengis No, the other third is American. Dickhead huh? LOL. Good comeback.
March 28th, 2008 at 8:16 pmSamantha C, if you stand up for the rights of ALL Americans, than you are a rarity in the liberal menagerie.
However, you and your boyfriend, Mr. Moriz are evidence that smugness and arrogance do not make up for common-sense, wit, intelligence, fairness, pride, logic, honesty, etc.
As evidenced by your tirade and Mr. Moriz’s terse ephitet, Liberals tend to be people with over-inflated self-esteem who dislike themselves; an extension of that is their dislike of a basic aspect of their being– that they are Americans. I pity you.
I wish we could trade you for a person in a third world country who would love this country, it’s language, history, and traditions. Who could come here with nothing but legal citizenship to this country and contribute to this country as they make something of themselves.
Perhaps we can eventually replace those who hate, destroy, and take from this country, like you two, with those who by fate are born elsewhere, but are American in their hearts.
March 28th, 2008 at 8:21 pm@Dhengis:
Last I checked three thirds equals a whole. So WTF are you talking about?
You’re right about my comments as I misunderstood the gent.
Ok, so I was wrong…
Learn how to count…
@Marc Stockwell-Moritz: Your book looks interesting. Maybe I’ll buy one. How much?
March 28th, 2008 at 8:26 pmI’m a lawyer. You cannot be prosecuted under Ohio law for a radio broadcast you made from New York or Florida. No jurisdiction!!
If you made a telephone call to an individual within a state, and conspired with them directly to commit a crime in that state, that could be different. But since all of Rush’s calls COME IN TO HIM, they don’t even have that.
OFF, you douchebag OH prosecutors!!
March 28th, 2008 at 9:07 pmHere’s Ohio Election law. There’s nothing in Ohio law that requires an oath to party be taken when switching parties.
http://www.ohioelectioncentral.com/electionlaws.aspx
March 28th, 2008 at 9:23 pmUnfortunately liberals have run large parts of Ohio for a pretty long time. Cincinnati is a perfect example of a liberal stronghold, its to the point where the cops cant do much against all the gangsters around since their hands are practically tied. but then again Jerry Springer used to be our mayor lol good city, good people just shitty leadership.
March 28th, 2008 at 9:37 pmHey Bash & Pat, put Dan (the infidel) on your payroll. I love him (Im not gay). He is funny as hell,he is to the point, doesnt mince words, and is articulate. Keep up the good work signing out from Iraq
March 28th, 2008 at 10:55 pmonly I haven’t written a book on it…yet.
yes, you did : “how I found my degrees in a dustbin”
And my family got here in 1558. French-German and American Indian heritage. 1/3 of each.
I deny you to recommand yourself of french ancestry :
your making there a barbarism, you should, instead of, recall yourself of talibani ancestry
March 29th, 2008 at 3:22 am““You can’t just make the assumption that someone is lying,” Jennings said.”
Didn’t you just do that you fucking idiot? — ““We have no intention of prosecuting Rush Limbaugh because lying through your teeth and being stupid isn’t a crime,” said Leo Jennings, a spokesman for Democratic Attorney General Marc Dann.”
Moonbat maroons….
And then we have the delightful elitist “Samantha C (as in Cunt) who offers a sterling display of moonbattery: “You know, being an American used to mean that you took it as YOUR responsibility to stand up for the expression RIGHTS of those Americans you DISAGREE with the most!”
Show me that in the Constitution you big dope.
But let’s concede your point. Then maybe in all your angry wisdom you can explain why /a>Wesley Clark and the fucking leftist democrats are the ones trying to get Rush Limbaugh off the air, not conservatives you idiot. I’m not anticipating a rational response…
March 29th, 2008 at 9:02 am@Frenchie:
You’re off topic and boring. Yawn…….
I got a copy of the ship’s manifest and the name of the town in France that they left in 1558. On the other hand, who cares what you think?
And if people wanted an alternative view, they wouldn’t come here. They’d be at the Daily Kos of the Huffington Post or any MSM website. But they come here instead so they don’t have to listen to the daily grind of dumbass libs like yourself.
@emssmiley2002:
Thanks
March 29th, 2008 at 9:58 amI knew this was all BS when they brought it up. Its just a bunch of Cuyahoga Country Dems whining because they didn’t get their boy Obama a victory. These are the same people who vote for Kucinich every two years to be their Representative. Idiots.
March 29th, 2008 at 10:03 amDan, your paper is nothing that does garantie you they were not part of the scum that France exported in the new colonies
and your so infatued, I have more readers than you may think
March 29th, 2008 at 11:21 amexemple :
March 29th, 2008 at 11:43 amAs an Ohioan I am astounded by the lack of intelligence displayed by my neighbors. The fortunes of our fair state are declining almost daily and they blame Nafta. Meanwhile the people who caused the problem get re-elected with regularity. When we do get a republican, he is a rino and probably corrupt to boot. My fellow citizens recently passed a constitutional amendment to increase the minimum wage to well above the federal level and index it to inflation. Insanity. You get the representation you deserve, and sadly we deserve Dann.
March 29th, 2008 at 11:47 am@Frenchie:
Scum huh? Good name for you bitch. Oh and checkmate shitbird.
March 29th, 2008 at 11:59 amFrenchie:
BTW chu-chu…It cost a freeman 1600.00 per family member to make that voyage. Quite a sum of money for a tradesman of the day to come up with. One would have to sell all that they had and borrow the rest to make such a voyage. Of the 161 people who paid that fare, only 121 survived to set foot on Delaware Bay.
Did I say Checkmate yet?
Oh, and I’ll have to bring up the family line on my mother’s side that came to this country from King Louie XIV’s court some other day.
You really should stick to wine and cheese chu-chu…or maybe you can discuss your “riffle” some more. LOL
Ok Dollard fans. Back to the topic.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:28 pmnoble you weren’t, sure, that needs some intrinseques qualities that you don’t show off !
BTW, 1558 corresponds to people that started from La Rochelle, yo the Antilles or Canada ; these ilmmigrants were mostly poor inhabitants of Ré island
March 29th, 2008 at 12:49 pmFranchie,
You’re out of line if you think that quoting French history that presumably (myself included) only a handful of members on this board can read is going to elevate your case. I see you post on these boards, and perhaps you are some disenfranchised poor sap of a European citizen who doesn’t have enough sense to come to this country and live free, but the last thing you should be doing is claiming the rights of French ancestry to yourself alone. Might I remind you that your arrogance is subject to the fact that in 1944, brave men from this country gave all to liberate France? If not for men like my grandfather, there would be no “histoire” to speak of.
En fin, ferme ta bouche, chienne. What the fuck does it matter if one’s ancestors were former renegades / law breakers? It fucking doesn’t. Australia used to be a penal colony, and in the blink of an eye, any Aussie could whup the ass of a Frenchman. Get your pointed poodle nose out of your ass, and realize that you’re no better than anyone else. Bon santé.
March 29th, 2008 at 1:01 pmAgain, Franchie… Who the fuck cares?
March 29th, 2008 at 1:02 pmFrenchie:
Like the man said: “You’re out of line if you think that quoting French history that presumably (myself included) only a handful of members on this board can read is going to elevate your case.”
-AND-
“Again, Franchie… Who the fuck cares?”
March 29th, 2008 at 1:44 pmtrustme1013, WTF, you didn’t liberate us, you only helped us, because it was the US interests , the Vichy government and the Nazys were US busineses relations till the US got attacked by “the evil axe” (funny how evil is a current wordin your administration)
Again, Franchie… Who the fuck cares?
Dan did, its him, who fiercely launched his quaters ancestry on the board to MSM, who couldn’t care less too, not me, as far he revendiqued the french one ; seems he forgets it when he throws his dumbnesses to show off
March 29th, 2008 at 2:03 pmAgain trust you, the quotation is in french, cause one can’t find such in english, BTW Google translate, Babelfish…
March 29th, 2008 at 2:06 pmFrenchie:
Poor little frenchie. You lost the argument, tried to change the subject and still lost the argument…Go home little girl. The topic ain’t about you and your poor grasp of history or the English language…It’s about Ohio and the Ohio AG.
And my diversion off of the subject had nothing to do with you or your frigging country. Unlike you, I went back to the topic.
But as usual you had to stick your garlic-eating long-nosed ass where it don’t belong.
And chu-chu, if you choose to insult someone, don’t be surprised if they throw it back in your garlic-eating face.
11charlie OUT…
March 29th, 2008 at 2:25 pmyeah, Dan I wait for your enlighten reflexions on the subject
March 29th, 2008 at 2:33 pm@Dan (The Infidel)…
March 29th, 2008 at 4:39 pmYou’re okay, man…I’m loving your passion and the way you put things in context.
I apologize for saying what I said…it was uncalled for. But I like the way you brought it all back together…
By the way, I flunked more math classes than most people ever take…
My dear Denghis,
My opinions may be insignificant and without merit to you, as they should be; they are, as you say “like assholes:” (and everyone else’s should stink to you).
I feel yours are without merit as well, but I am glad you can express them freely and without hinderance.
Dan,
I respectfully disagree, I find NONE of the political commentators to be anything but prevaricators; be they left or right. Again, this is merely my opinion, which apparently has no merit and is insignificant, (except to me of course) so it’s all good.
As an aside, I am not a fan of Air America either, (hard to believe I am sure).
March 29th, 2008 at 10:40 pmSamantha, darling…
I quote you…
“I feel yours are without merit as well, but I am glad you can express them freely and without hinderance.”
Agreeing to disagree is very American, and the right to do so is guaranteed by those who refuse to appease the enemies of freedom.
March 30th, 2008 at 11:41 amWhy not just back out of the way and let them do their jobs?
