I would add that the units most likely to see combat are enjoying the highest enlistment and re-enlistment rates. Active duty is way ahead of Reserve and Guard units, for example. The Army and Marines are ahead of AF and USN too. We’re Americans and this is a warrior culture.

It is all because of that new MTV movie coming out, “StopLoss”! I saw the commercial for the movie and it educated me more than 12 years of quality public schools!!
March 19th, 2008 at 1:23 pmI’m actually thinking of joining a guard unit, go in as a Captain or Major , got out of the Marine Corps in 1973,they need Dentists really bad.I was sgt when I was in, wouldn’t know how to act as an Officer, school is only two weeks to learn how to be one. Better than BOOT Camp when the DI’s terrorized you.
