Use to be 40 years ago a kid had to be a certain age, have gone through 4H or the NRA class before he could bring a weapon to school…and only for show and tell…and of course, for a few hours of plinking on the way home in the nearest rock quarry or woods. Or, in some parts of the country, during deer season.

Those days are long gone…Judging by where he lives…if I was a third grader, I would have done the same thing…only I would have kept it to myself.

This is an at-risk kid. Best place for him is a self-defense course at the “Y” or one of the many foundations that Darrell Green and a number of ex-players sponsor.

    More shitty parents.

These gun related stories, shootings and all else is our news everyday. They’ve been getting “wake up calls” since I’ve been back since Jun ‘03. After 23 years in Buffalo I say to myself, “what have I come back to?”

Respond now.
