This Is What MLK Said About Wright’s Church
I am so sick and tired of these people bringing MLK into this thing. They completely disregard King’s fundamental principle for judging people:
“…will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
But here is an MLK quote which dismisses any claims Wright and his ilk are making with regard to equating themselves with Dr. King:
“The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.”
All you need to do in order to get a “handle” on how the people who support this “church” and it’s “clergy” is to re-listen to the two Wright-bats on the Bill O`Reilly show from the other night.
Reality and historical perspective are completely alien to them:

March 16th, 2008 at 2:20 pmThat idea of equal treatment under the law is so old school, get with today and embrace identity politics.

BINGO!
But where would Sharpton & Jackson be today without the almighty dollar racism generates? Just as racism does not know the color of your skin, the same can be said about greed..

March 16th, 2008 at 10:13 pmMLK words will NEVER be achieve along side the Democratic Party. They do not look at the character of men but only color of their skin.
Every time they vote Dem their problem only grows.
March 17th, 2008 at 6:48 amKing was spot on. Thanks for reminding us of HIS brilliance. All we get from most of today’s black “leaders” is separatist rhetoric and remarks that perpetuate racism.
King was a gem… I am proud he was an American first, and a black man second.
That is how I intend to remember him, and I think, how all great Americans act in their endeavors.
