I heard the judge say that to

How hard is it to understand that if only the criminals have guns then the unarmed folks will be fucked.

Like the old saying about leaving someone to their own devices. if criminals only have guns then who is stop them or keep them in check? the police? haha thats a joke. the government cant always be there. but my 12 gauge and my 9mm are always around when i need them.

A gun in the hands of a honest citizen = 24 hour/round the clock police protection in your home. All this for between $150-$5000+. Step right up and get your handgun, shotgun, rifle, you name it.

    Policeman/woman = $35,000-$60,000 a year in taxpayer $.
Your own personal weapon of choice = priceless

    Simple logic.

That photo sets my teeth on edge. Putting your muzzle on the ground like that is almost as bad as using your rifle to dig a 155 mm round out of the road!

Dude … I believe your attention/sight was meant to be a bit higher …

Oh… But I already have one of those!

Gun Control is putting the rounds you send down range onto the intended target.
I am also of the mindset that the local police departments should conform to the same ordinances that prohibit law abiding citizens from defending themselves, This would include all government agencies, including but not limited to the Secret Service. I would like to see the FBI come to Crook County and serve a warrant if the Crook County Board gets what it wants!!

Get your gun now if you don’t have one already. Son of a black man will be doing his best to make it impossible when he captures The White House.

I’ll leave it to the words of the Founders….

“False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils, except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes..Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”~ Thomas Jefferson’s Commonplace Book,” 1774-1776

“To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them”–Richard Henry Lee, 6th President in Congress(1784-1785), under the Articles of Confederation, pre-Constitution.
There were 10 Presidents in Congress during that era.
    Succeeded by John Hancock.

“Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence. To ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference, they deserve a place of honor with all that is good.”— - George Washington

    jam,
    It isn’t going to happen.
    President McCain will be there.

In our Drug and ‘illegal’ infested nation, we now have one more little difference to contend with. The latest weapon of choice in the State where I live, is the short metal baseball bat. It is especially used in the latest wave of ‘home invasions’ (welcome to the new phenomenon). Therefore no stats as to the ‘media dreaded’ gunshot deaths. Now isn’t that Sweet. It’s much more civil to be bludgeoned to disfigurement and permanent brain impairment by a metal bat, by the home invader seeking quick cash for drugs. (so far they seem to somewhat
prefer weaker seniors). What’s next, The North American Union?
