Westboro Baptists Mocking Gold Star Dad’s $10.9 Million Judgement
Remember this? Gold Star Dad Albert Snyder of York, Pennsylvania was awarded $10.9 million by a jury for the emotional distress inflicted upon him by the Westboro Baptist fake Christians when they picketed and protested at the funeral of his fallen Marine son Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, who died in Iraq.
They released a video recently mocking the settlement. These people are disgusting. They think that they are Old Testament Prophets in a New Covenant.
Wrong…they are deceived idiots.

I am really at a loss here. Maybe one of you can help me out. I do not make a point to follow every single news story, but this one (the Westboro Church) keeps rearing its head, as we see here.
Please clue me in on the facts, as I feel I am missing something. Here is what I have been gleaned to date:
This group (the Westboro Church members)…
1. Belong to a “church.”
2. Claim to be devout Christians.
3. Clearly despise all homosexuals.
4. Make every effort to affront the grieving family members of fallen US military personnel during funeral services.
4a. Took great joy at the recent death of an actor (Heath Ledger) because he portrayed a homosexual in a recent film (Brokeback Mountain).
I have been operating under the notion that–according to these Westboro people–members of the US military are despicable people and deserved to die because they serve a government that, so far, has refused to herd American homosexuals onto cattle cars and slaughter them in concentration camps.
I realize that sounds preposterous, but that’s where I am really losing it.
I am almost 50, and cannot recall any group of people who so seem like they are desperately trying to disport themselves as hollow-headed, drooling morons.
What on Earth am I missing here?
PS: Why am I not seeing video footage of scores of people clubbing these cockroaches like baby seals at an Alaskan BBQ?!

They are a clan of lawyers(many disbarred) and they do what they do to goad good people into reacting in such a way that they can sue both the individual, any organization and the local authorities for any “violence” done to them. They are the meat world equivalent of internet trolls but they’ve figured out a way to make it pay. Turning the tables on them is the sweetest thing.

1. Anyone can setup a “Church”. Using the term Baptist doesn’t make one either Baptist or a Christian.
2. There are MANY wolves in sheeps clothing. Westboro is one of them. The proof is in what they say and how much of the actual Scripture they really know or in how they act on what they know. Are they like the Apostle Paul? No. Charles Stanley? No. C.S. Lewis? No.
Perfect example is Jerimaih Wright. He’s no Christian. Christian Pastors don’t G-D anyone. It’s a violation of the commandment not to take the Lord’s name in vain…which he did.
An actual Christian church might quote Romans when discussing gays, but they would never hold a sign that says God hates gays. Wrong song man. God likes them as much as anyone else. It’s sin that he hates…not the individual. So Westboro lies…they are “White-washed sepulchurs filled with dead-men’s bones.
The media on the other hand has no clue as to how to tell one Church from another. They’re so busy tagging people with this name or that. They cannot tell a Jim Jones, from a Koresh, or a Paula White or a Westboro Baptist liar.
One thing is apparent: It takes someone who studies the Scripture, who is born-again, and who has learned to discern who is a liar and who is not to see all the red flags that these losers are waving around. That leaves out the media and the vast majority of Americans.
It doesn’t leave out folks like me…who BTW is waiting on his final grades for his Biblical Studies degree.
Without the understanding of the correct Biblical exegisis,
the morons at Westboro appear to be the real deal….they are not. No more so than is Jeremiah Wright.
Obviously people will disagree with folk who don’t do the social gospel thing. The real gospel ain’t about agreeing with society. It’s about agreeing with God and His Christ irrespective of what any society thinks.
Jesus himself said, that he didn’t come to agree with everyone, but to bring a sword…That’s right…he was no guru or some hippie. He brought division between those who genuinely seek after God and those who are skeptics of the process. People like Westboro and Rev Wright, take advantage of the folk who don’t bother to study the Scripture, and who nothing about Christ, his attitude toward the world and his philosophy.
People who try and figure this stuff out continually try to use societal arguments…instead of using spiritual ones and thus fail to see the wisdom and the relevance of the Gospel.
If you interpret Scripture with Scripture you can see the lies, and the hypocracy of Westboro, Wright, Koresh, Swaggart, Bakker and a Jim Jones.
Wolves in sheep’s clothing. White-washed Sepulchurs filled with dead man’s bones. Just remember that when you see a dink from Westboro. Cause that’s all they are. They are no more Christian than is OBL and his band of nutcases.

All of the members are the minister (Fred Phelps), his wife and children, his children’s spouses, their children and the grandchildren. All of the rational thinking members have left a long time ago.
There have been some Phelps’s that have left the family and have been disowned. (Being disowned by them would a blessing in my book….)

I know it is God’s right not ours to charge retribution, and others here are much more eloquent than I, but, they will pay. The fact we have good men and women dying in uniform so those poor excuses can do what they are, it is not right nor just.
