President Bush decides to leave the White House and go out to sit in a local bar.
A guy walks in and asks the barman, ‘Isn’t that Bush sitting at the end of the bar?’
The bartender says, ‘Yep, that’s him.’
So the guy walks over and says, ‘Wow, this is a real honor! What are you doing in here?’
Bush says, ‘ I’m planning WW III.’
The guy says, ‘Really? What’s going to happen?’
Bush says, ‘Well, I’m going to kill 140 million Muslims and one blonde with big tits.’
The guy exclaimed, ‘A blonde with big tits? Why kill a blonde with big tits?’
Bush turns to the bartender and says, ‘See, I told you, no one gives a shit about the 140 million Muslims!

Second stimulus package. From Politico’s “The Huddle”:
“BEHIND THE SCENES: Robert D. Novak reports on Saturday: “Under intense pressure from the business community, the two Senate leaders — Democrat Harry Reid and Republican Mitch McConnell — have agreed to bury the hatchet long enough to pass housing legislation that amounts to a second economic stimulus package. Their handshake means they will forego their usual parliamentary tricks, which have caused little to be accomplished in the Senate for more than a year. Most significantly, Majority Leader Reid has promised not to ‘fill the tree’ — proposing enough amendments to foreclose the Republicans from offering their changes.?”

Stockholm, Sweden (AP) - The electrocution of a fat rat in an electric station Saturday caused a three-hour power outage and shutdown of Stockholm’s central train station.
The early morning outage led to the shutting down of train traffic, said Jesper Ekenlund, a spokesman for power company Fortum. Nearby hotels and shops also were affected, he said.
“The rat had sneaked into a secondary substation and came into contact with some parts that caused it to short circuit,” he said.
“It must have been really big because there’s a certain distance between the parts it touched. With better eating habits, that rat would still be alive.”
Ekenlund said Fortum will now have to decontaminate the area where the rat met its fate.

The early word on the kidnapped college students is that it was indeed Moqtada Al Sadr’s men who did it, and the students were not mysteriously released, but rescued in an action by the Iraqi army. There was a good deal of fighting in Sadr City as both the Iraqi Army and U.S. Forces pursue the Mahdi Army, and utltimately work to break its stranglehold on a lot of Shiite Iraq.

The AP, which usually breaks its neck to report any bad news from Iraq, is yet to report the rescue, only hours after their capture, of the 42 Iraqi college students by the Iraqi Army, hours after others such as myself have reported it.

It’s a perfect display of the unique blend of ignorance and arrogance that anyone should think that disconnected political suits should be calling the shots. Why in God’s name, would it be any other way? If the man on the ground isn’t worth listening to, you don’t turn to the suits instead, you replace the man on the ground. “Bush Listens Closely To His Man In Iraq”.

Journalists and publicists are primarily instilled with socialists and liberal ideologies at universities throughout the West, hence those views dominate the scene in the Western media.

In Europe the media, effectively censors almost all elements that connect many of the increasing struggles which the socialists have set into motion by flooding their nations with uneducated Immigrants with a fascist, antisemetic culture. Thank’s to that brainwashing (which I too was a victim of until recently) Europeans blame all it’s attacks, honor killing, Jihad Rape, a.s.o. on themselves (as in, on their native population). April 5th, 2008 at 12:33 amEven in an expose of militant Islam, the European Journal can’t face the fact that “dar al Harb” literally means the “the house of war”, translating it instead as “the non-Islamic world”. Pretty brave. You can’t win if you can’t even name your enemy.

I have a great affinity and affection for our Australian friends and comrades. They have willingly supported and fought beside us in our wars, to date, and the history/roots of Australia are so similar to that of our own country.
If I could choose one other country I would live in besides the USA it would be Australia. And I’m a sucker for the accent.

April 5th, 2008 at 9:36 am1:19 A.M.:
Joke? It’s a joke? Damn, you got my hopes up.
8:05 A.M.:
There are some people who are born contraindicators of what you should do. The Goracle, hell, the whole man-made global warming bunch, are perfect examples. They are always, always wrong. It’s like the Times critisizing you, proof you’re doing your job.
8:08 A.M.:
Those are jobs where you get to impose your will on others. I’ve been accused of being a sociopath, but I’m just the opposite. I’m concerned with making sure others can’t force their will on me. I don’t give a shit what others do as long as they leave me the hell alone.
9:06 A.M.:
Doors slamming on their own happens all the time, especially in old, drafty buildings. It doesn’t take much wind or difference in air pressure to swing a door shut. And an old electomechanical typewriter acting up isn’t exactly a shock.
As for the guy with a flashlight seeing a shadow, BFD. You should hold a flashlight as close to your head as possible. The bigger the offset from your line of sight, the more shadows you see, and the more your mind can play tricks on you.

In an ABSOLUT World according to Mexico
Posted Friday, April 04, 2008, 5:26:34 PM
The In An Absolut World advertising campaign invites consumers to visualize a world that appeals to them — one they feel may be more idealized or one that may be a bit “fantastic.” As such, the campaign will elicit varying opinions and points of view. We have a variety of executions running in countries worldwide, and each is germane to that country and that population.
This particular ad, which ran in Mexico, was based upon historical perspectives and was created with a Mexican sensibility. In no way was this meant to offend or disparage, nor does it advocate an altering of borders, nor does it lend support to any anti-American sentiment, nor does it reflect immigration issues. Instead, it hearkens to a time which the population of Mexico may feel was more ideal.
As a global company, we recognize that people in different parts of the world may lend different perspectives or interpret our ads in a different way than was intended in that market. Obviously, this ad was run in Mexico, and not the US — that ad might have been very different.

Sorority, actually; it was a benefit function for cancer victims. The ZTA gals had me and some buddies do the grunt work–we “volunteered” to lug the kegs (for the reception afterwards)! They helped out with our Super Bowl party, so it was the least we could do (they made the best wings, I’ve ever had). Sure, freedom and the American way are worth fighting for, but I’d put my life on the line for the plethora of fine American women alone, any day, any place!!!
You better believe there’ll be a lot more activities around here, come the week of the 16th (don’t think I need to mention the significance of that infamous date).
