Bash’s Take On Hussein’s “Clinging To God & Guns” Remark
Briefly, I just wanted to say that this is a very revealing statement about the space between that guy’s ears. I haven’t heard anybody address this angle of Hussein’s remarks. The press really tends to be… magnifying on the offense toward the citizens of Pennsylvania, as they should, but there is also the glaring spectre of Hussein revealing his true colors regarding The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the United Trinity Church of Christ of Chicago, and Black Liberation Theology.
Here’s what I believe he revealed, besides the obvious…
He said: “And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
He proves a few things here:
1. His immaturity as a human being. He may be Harvard educated and all of that, but he seems to be unable to distinguish when he is viewing the world from his own filter, and when he is speaking truth. There is a huge difference. And here he reveals that he cannot distinguish real truth from truth perceived due to one’s world view.
and
2. His adherence to the Rev. Wright’s true beliefs. By speaking out that people form attachments to God and guns out of bitterness and antipathy, he is actually revealing the Black experience in America to the point when the whole “Black Liberation Theology” movement came about in the mid-60’s at the height of the Civil Rights Movement.
and
3. His elitist snobbery. No explanation necessary.
It is a “Black Liberation Theology Church” thing…and I speak of the Black Liberation Theology movement that Hussein’s pastor Wright comes out of, and thusly, Hussein himself. This whole idea that Jesus was a Black man, etc etc…
Now, with the Black Liberation Theology movement in mind, let’s hear the quote: “And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
The “Black Liberation Theology” churches sprung up out of bitterness and antipathy toward the white man, and if B. Hussein Obama truly did not believe in the Black Liberation Theology that springs forth from the spirit of his pastor Jeremiah Wright and the congregation of the United Trinity Church of Christ in Chicago, and if he truly didn’t believe all of the statements of Rev. Wright that He said he condemns, then he would never have made the statement he made in Pennsylvania last week.
McCain and Hillary should both be shouting Hallelujah! right now because as the old saying goes: “You have to go through Pennsylvania to live on Pennsylvania Avenue,” and Hussein’s remarks last week pretty much buried his hopes of winning PA.
Let’s just hope other voices with a bigger platform will catch on to this important, glaring flaw in Hussein’s character.
So, the God & crowd finally doesn’t have a reflexive reaction that the libtards wanted. They actually spoke up and said, enough? About time.
April 14th, 2008 at 7:53 amWe cling to God and guns because they work, end of line.
April 14th, 2008 at 7:59 amBash, just one little point in your essay. He said it to a San Francisco crowd. Probably thought us knuckle-dragging racists here in Pennsylvania wouldn’t hear about it.
He’s trying emotional blackmail by mentioning immigrants, of course not differentiating between legal and illegal. If those Pennsylvanians don’t vote for me it’s because they’re racists. Oh, God forbid us Pennsylvanians are fearful of being branded racists.
We’re very used to being lectured to by racial elitists, especially those of us near Philadelphia.
The gun-toting Pennsylvanians. Yes, gun crimes do happen in the suburbs and the outback. They’re the exception, not the rule. In the cities, they’re the rule, not the exception. Yes, BO, continue to from on high tell us Pennsylvanians all about ourselves.
April 14th, 2008 at 8:05 amHe also is playing to the possibility of him losing PA, explaining it away in a way the ass humping, elitist, Lisa Simpson liberals would understand and not become overly concerned that he lost a flyover state.
Immaturity is right, He has not had life experiences outside of his group of self righteous and elitist liberals to understand and appreciate the variety of people that make up this country. He has no room for people with differing opinions and beliefs, he wants to change them, not understand them.
The intolerant views and beliefs that are slipped out and then ‘clarified’ are truly a reflection of what is inside him.
He is a danger to this nation if we want to maintain individual freedom.
April 14th, 2008 at 8:28 amIts Wattsville when this racist loses PA….
April 14th, 2008 at 8:35 amAs a sports fan, I watch ESPN on a regular basis. When a Black athlete gets into trouble, the White commentators usually defer because they say they can’t be objective because they have not lived the Black experience. So, using the same logic, how can BO be objective when he speaks of White America? Doesn’t that argument go both ways? He is proving that he doesn’t have a clue how the vast majority of Americans feel at all.
April 14th, 2008 at 8:45 amI love how liberals pigeon-hole anybody that is spiritual, or a hunter/outdoor sports enthusiast/gun owner as either “Bible thumpers” or “Gun Nuts”. And the former lable only applies to Christians. I can go on and on about the Dahli Lama without without getting labled by the left as a “Crazy Buddhist”.
It seems to me that the left does far more labeling than anybody else. Granted, conservatives and others do plenty, but the left takes the cake. “Racist”, “homophobe”, “warmonger”, “xenophobe”, “redneck”, etc. are just some examples.
I was back home in Buffalo, visiting when I heard the news that Charlton Heston had passed away. The Toronto, CA radio station I was listening to, announced it by saying “…the great actor and gun-nut, Charlton Heston died today…”. I’m sure this type of thing was repeated all over the MSM. I guess because we believe in ALL of the Constitution, and not JUST the 1st and 4th Amendments, we are rednecks and “gun-nuts”. Because we want to do something about ILLEGAL immigration we are all “Xenophobes”. Because we believe in the missions in Iraq and Afghanistan we are “warmongers”.
So keep it up liberals. Keep on labeling people with stereotypical tags just because YOU don’t agree. The American people are getting clued in, despite the best efforts of the MSM. They are starting to see what elitist snobs you truly are.
Now excuse me, as I am off to the gun store to by more .40 S&W ammo for my Sig.
April 14th, 2008 at 8:53 amI speak from personal experience when I tell you that a Harvard (or any other) degree is no guarantee of maturity.

Your dead on Bash. Jesus also suffered. He also did not blame others for his suffering and preached to us that we should not blame others for our suffering, but embrace it as OUR cross to bare. Its part of the natural world to suffer. WE ALL SUFFER!
April 14th, 2008 at 10:16 amI found the comment Hussien made very interesting. He stated that folks in what the libs love to call flyover country are clinging to their bibles and guns. Well that really says it all.
We cling to our bibles and guns because its Obama and his liberal friends who every chance they get vilify religious folk and try to disarm law abiding US citizens!
Then he addresses supposed negative feelings towards folks not like them and the immigrants and of course bad trade deals.
Unlike the limo libs he was sucking up to who arent suffering from increasing unemployment via a massive invasion of illegal aliens. Illegals who can be used by profiteers as disposable human beings.
And once again its Hussien’s crowd who want to give amnesty to the illegals and give them entitlements so their extended relations can come here too all on the taxpayer dole.
Then there is the bad trade issues today Obama’s pal in the house Pelosi blocked a deal that would have helped us sell products to Columbia and two other nations that also have positive trade deals in the pipeline.
Its no wonder good law abiding US citizens from all walks of life are bitter and clinging to what few things they have left and hold dear. Because its these types of creeps who are working day and night to turn this nation into a socialist country run by liberal oligarchs who are nothing more that a bunch of sick liberal marxist surrender monkeys.
