Amen, Mr. President!
April 27th, 2008 at 11:41 amSadly this is still relevant. Still people would give a up freedom for peace.
Oh, and I’ve had this video on my “My Space” for a month or so now. I love it.

There will never be another Ronald Reagan, I’m sorry to say. I don’t know any Republican today that can hold a candle to a speech like that. No wonder they called him the Great Communicator.

April 27th, 2008 at 1:18 pmIt will always be relevant. It should always be heeded.
BASH! thanks, this should be put in regular rotation.
April 27th, 2008 at 1:19 pmGo to Heritage.org for more Reagan clips. If you want to make it a regular feature you can get the clips from Heritage. Also Patriotpost.com has a wealth of Reagan stuff/
You could easily substitute the words Islam for Communism, and Ahmedwhackjob or OBL for Kruchev and the speech still works.
Reagan saw the menace of the surrender monkey libs LONG before most other politicians did.
What a brilliant gent he was. I’m glad we have fast ships named after the two greatest warriors of the 2oth Century: RR and Winston Churchill. Both should be on Mt Rushmore if you ask me…right next to TR &Co.
April 27th, 2008 at 1:36 pmMade me think of,
“If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
