this reminds of the time someone tried to do a driveby shooting on me and some of my friends after they got their ass kicked in a fight. well they drove by he pulled the handgun out, squeezed the trigger and it jammed. then as karma works got stuck in traffic about 20 feet up the road. man we gave him the beating of his life that night.

(it was in high school. and no im not into driveby shootings or stupid shit, this happened after a normal fist fight that the guy lost to one of my friends.)

but fortunately for him the gun jammed. getting your ass beat is better than prison for murder.

Have had to use a gun only once,fired into the ground to prove to my attacker that it wasn’t a toy,he left… end of story…

First rule of gun safety taught to me by dad was never point a gun at anyone unless you plan on pulling the trigger and shooting them dead. This he told me after he had handed his shotgun to me and I mistakenly waved it around past his head, though never actually at him. His eyes were very cold and he spoke with a quiet seriousness in a man to man manner.

A couple years back a guy tried to rob a pizza delivery man in Indianapolis.
After getting the money the robber attempted to kill the delivery guy.
Click, Click, Bang 8x’s as the pizza guy drew his 9mm and shot the perp 8x’s before he hit the ground.
The perp had the draw on him, can’t hardly draw from concealment like that.
The perp had a Glock40, a nice gun, fully loaded magazine.
Fortunately for the pizza guy there wasn’t one in the chamber.

Ruled a “Justifiable Homicide” the pizza guy rightly went free.
He was fired for being able to defend himself.

So there’s another rule, you must be prepared to use it, not just able to pull the trigger.
