We’re one Armed Forces.

I got several Ranger buddies and had the pleasure of working with a few when I was in the service. I walked a shitload of miles. You don’t get an appreciation for what these people do until you strap on a 60 lb ruck and join the “kiwi express” for about 20 miles.

You ex-grunts know how it is though. No pain, no gain.

I grew up next to Fort Hood - I have seen the best (and the worst) of Fort Hood, I must say. The 4th ID has some of the best of the best, but I have met a few Marines who are just down right superheroes.

My dad (199th L.I.B.) and my cousin (82nd A.A.) did Ranger school; Dad said it was almost as difficult as VMI!

I have nothing but respect for anyone who gets through the course. I’ll definitely try to make it through Ranger School, it can only better my leadership & patrol abilities.

Marines are part of Ranger school. They send students and have instructors at the school. A few years back, a Marine Gunny, and his Army Ranger Buddy, won the best Ranger competition.
