Gaddafi Delivers “Litany Of Insults” To Arab Leaders At Summit
DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) - Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is warning Arab leaders that they might be overthrown like former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein.
In a rambling, off-the-cuff speech to the opening of the Arab summit in Syria, Gaddafi both bewildered and brought reluctant smiles to the faces of the other leaders.
His litany of insults directed at Arabs and his undiplomatic railing at the disarray of Arab regimes have become almost a tradition at the annual gathering.
Gaddafi blasted Arab countries for doing nothing while the United States invaded Iraq in 2003 and overthrew Saddam, saying that their turn is next.
In recent years, Gaddafi has dramatically repaired ties with the United States by giving up his country’s weapons of mass destruction programs and paying compensation for the 1988 Pan Am bombing.

In eight grade English we had to make a movie, I do not remember why. Anyway me and my group, decided to make a bit of a spoof; we called it Mr. Qaddafi’s Neighborhood.
Lots of camouflage clothes, military surplus gear, dummy hand grenades, bad makeup, silly wigs and a fish tank full of “piranha”. I don’t remember what the piranhas were for but it sure was funny to our 13 year old brains.
Oh well, Daffy Qaddafi is at it again. He sure has gotten compliant since President Bush’s Axis of Evil/War on terror speech after September 11th.
