Are these idiots’ 15 minutes of fame over yet?!?
April 12th, 2008 at 8:10 pmI have mixed feelings…
On one hand, I am glad to see that the Westboro Church was ran off…
On the other, I wish that it could have been done without the vulgarities. I happen to be a God-fearing Christian man, and resent Westboro for their warped interpretation of the Bible. God does not hate “fags”, as Westboro puts it. Many people would be quick to find that many Christians do not ‘hate’ anyone because of their orientation. On the contrary, we are told to love the sinner, but not the sin. And if Westboro knew their Bible better, they would realize this.
No wonder Christianity is under attack. Too many cult-ish groups out there that use Christianity to hide behind…
April 12th, 2008 at 8:19 pmThis is the best video I have seen in months!
April 12th, 2008 at 9:24 pmThis is much more comforting than the video of the kids saying they don’t owe their country shit.

“No wonder Christianity is under attack. Too many cult-ish groups out there that use Christianity to hide behind…”
Christianity is certainly under attack, but I disagree that cultish nitwits like Westboro Baptist Church are the reason. Can you name another group apart from Westboro that is giving Christianity a bad name?
I believe that the real reason Christianity is constantly slimed is because of Christianity’s “policy” (if I may call it that) of always “turning the other cheek” and “learning to love your enemies.”
I’m not suggesting any change in the ideological foundation of the religion, but cowards and predators always seek out the weakest members of the herd, and Christianity has–somehow–achieved the reputation of never fighting back. Christianity does not appear to be a mindset that will stand its ground and assert the right to its own existence.
Let the Westboro Church go harrass the members of a mosque and see what happens.
Again, I’m not against Christianity (and I am DEFINITELY AGAINST ISLAM!). However, until Christians band together and take a stand against the removal of Christmas decorations in public view and all the other horrific assaults it makes against secular society (irony off), it will continue to be a soft target.

It has been said that profanity is the feeble mind trying to express itself - but, it’s the only kind of language these Westboro pukes understand. Just lucky for them no one has yet used a baseball bat to add exclaimation points.
April 13th, 2008 at 5:46 amThe young people for the most part were shouting go home. There are those who used vulgarities but as stated some time the shock of those words can make a point with idiots like WBC. I am glad these young people did not resort to violence. The beat them at their own game.
I do not claim any religion and feel organized religion is evil. Now understand faith and religion in my opinion are two very different things.
April 13th, 2008 at 7:58 amSo they used profanity? So what? “Take a hike” is nowhere near as effective as “f-you mofo”. And the kiddies got their point across. Take a hike false techers and “tards” of Westboro..jive-Baptist Church…
Like I’ve said before, these Westboro loons are no more “Baptist” than is OBL.
One of these days, these pukes are going to run into a crowd that throws more than just profanity at them. If you ask me, Westboro has been just plain lucky to this point.
Get some…students….
April 13th, 2008 at 8:45 am“It has been said that profanity is the feeble mind trying to express itself”? Go tell that one to a bunch of hard-charging Marines or Soldiers who just returned from combat.
That’s the kind of intellectual tardism that candy-asses come up with whilst drinking their lattes and green tea.

Couldn’t agree with you more.
April 13th, 2008 at 9:15 amYou should hear the lectures my son gets from his mother the first couple days home on leave after deployment
Ang:
You’re confused. Religion is a man-made concept. It doesn’t involve any sort of “faith” component.
If faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things yet unseen…Then what “faith” can one have in any sort of human-created concept such as “religion”?
True faith is a relationship with Jesus Christ. It ain’t a religion. It’s both a faith AND a way of life.
Without faith, one cannot please the God I worship.
The two are inseperable.
Religion is man-ordained. A relationship with “The King Of Kings” and “The Lord Of Lords” is God-ordained.
April 13th, 2008 at 10:29 amProfanity is great. Spitting out a good swear feels just as good as throwing a nice haymaker, and it won’t get you arrested. Besides, folks like the WBC don’t deserve to experience your intellectual prowess. They clearly possess none of their own, therefore, you shouldn’t tax yourself in the effort to win the bout. If you can beat the enemy with cluster bombs, why spend the money on guided munitions?
On a different tack, I’m so frakin happy about this! First, they get sued, and are ordered to pay out. Now, they’re finally being challenged in the public forum, in a big way! I hate stupid people. The WBC is full of them.
April 13th, 2008 at 1:38 pmPoop, crap, feces, turd or shit. Sex, intercourse, screw or fuck. Heck or hell. Dang, darn, damn.
April 14th, 2008 at 1:24 amNo matter how you say it the meaning and context is all the same. Piss on this uppity idea of “bad words”.
