Here It Comes: Lebanon Orders South Residents To Move Away From Border
Pictured: (L) Israeli Army, (R) Syrian Army & Hezbollah. Shit’s getting ready to hit the fan.
Syria is about to publish its report on the death of Imad Mughniyeh. You know, the Hezbollah piglet that was responsible for the deaths of over 240 U.S. Service Members, mostly Marines, in Beirut in 1983, and scores of other terrorist operations.
Yeah, that piglet. The one that looks like he could be just another liberal Hollywood movie director.
Well, you didn’t even have to follow the news to figure that Hassan Nasrallah the big piglet of Hezbollah had spit flying from his snout calling for vengeance and blah blah blah…and if you have been listening to the rhetoric oinking out of Nasrallah’s snout for as many years as I have, then you know that this bit of vengeance crying seemed a bit louder, and a bit longer, and a bit more angry than normal.
After all, he lost his best military piglet.
Fuck ‘em, that’s what I say. Fuck ‘em.
But when Lebanon tells its citizens in the south to move away from the border, and Syria places its military on alert, you know something is about to happen. It’s a bit like seeing some storm squalls on the horizon when out at sea…
This from IsraelNN.com:
Syria has raised the state of alert of its armed forces because it knows Hizbullah’s revenge attack against Israel for the killing of Imad Mughniyeh is near, according to Channel 2.
Soon after Mughniyeh’s death, Israel warned Syria that it would hold it responsible for any revenge attack launched by Hizbullah for the killing of Mughniyeh, its operations officer.
Syria is due to release its official findings Sunday in the probe into Mughniyeh’s death. He was killed in an explosion in Damascus in February.
The paper Al-Quds Al-Arabi, which is published in London, reported that since Mughniyeh’s death, Syria has arrested dozens of suspects, including “Palestinians and senior Syrian army officers.” Sources in Damascus told the paper that the investigation established that foreigners were behind the murder of Mughniyeh.
Syria has accused Israel of being behind the assassination.
Meanwhile, former Syrian vice president Abdel Khalim Khaddam is accusing Syria of killing Muyghniyeh.
Interviewed by a Lebanese newspaper, Khaddam said that the head of Syrian intelligence was replaced because the investigation he conducted showed that those who planned the assassination came from within Syria.
Khaddam was forced into exile and took up residence in Europe after he criticized the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Hizbullah’s Deputy Director Sheikh Naeem Kassem said Sunday that the Israeli Home Front exercise is a preparation for war and part of “Israel’s aggressive character.”
Kassem said the exercise had three purposes: first, to boost the morale of the Israeli people, which has been low since the Second Lebanon War; secondly, to convince the Israelis that the army has overcome the failure and is ready and has drawn all the lessons from the war; and thirdly, he explained, “it is part of the preparations for war, because Israel is always on a war footing.”
The Al-Arabiyah television network reported Sunday that the Lebanese military ordered residents of southern villages to move away from the border with Israel. According to the report, the Lebanese Army set up dirt roadblocks and inspection towers along the border with Israel to prevent Lebanese civilians from getting too close to the fence.
Tension between Israel and Syria has been high recently, and there were reports that Defense Minister Ehud Barak cancelled his planned visit to Germany this week because of it. Defense Ministry advisor Amos Gilad denied this report and said that the Defense Minister changed his schedule because of a heavy workload.
Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Dan Harel told reporters last week: “I see no reason at all for unusual tension in the North and I do not think that any side is interested in a military confrontation.”
However, he also made what reporters saw as a hinted threat at Syria, following reports that Syrian forces were on a heightened state of alert.
“Anyone who tries to strike Israel should keep in mind that Israel is the strongest country in the region and that its response will be hard and painful. We are always alert and ready,” Harel warned.

Israel is the strongest country in the region but it means nothing if libtards run your government as if it were French.
April 6th, 2008 at 5:04 pmthanks for your interesting comparaison, sorry but we have Elvis running the show now
April 6th, 2008 at 5:34 pmwe have been seeing the storm sqalls on the horizon for a while now. as you well put it Bash. This time seems very real to me. just the logistics and money involved in moving a military around should tell us all that Syria is about to start something. There is no doubt in my mind that Israel has what it takes to beat all of them. The question is do they have the intestinal fortitude to do whatever it takes to win? we will see soon i think
here’s to the Syrian army and Iran’s proxy getting their asses kicked
April 6th, 2008 at 6:43 pmIt amazes me that the Syrian Presidential Palace, plus the next 15 largest buildings occupied by the Syrian intelligence services and Baath party, weren’t reduced to a fine powder by the IAF since 2006.
Let’s hope they are on the target list this time…You’ll be shocked at how quiet Nasrallah will get all of a sudden.
April 6th, 2008 at 7:15 pmWell, Syria’s got no backbone and after a few well-placed air strikes on Damascus, you’ll see their army vacate any areas close to Israel like they touched a hot wire. As for Hezbollah, they have only one thing going for them and that is the fact that they conduct 70% of their operations from residential neighborhoods and rely on the civilian shields as their protection. Hopefully, this time Israel will warn the Lebanese government clearly enough that any missile launch area will be destroyed, any building housing Hezbollah will be destroyed and if the civilians stay put after that warning, tough shit.
One last thing. I would hope that this time, we might see American fighter jets flying in formation with the Israeli jets so we don’t have to read ad nauseum the MSM reports out of Britain and France about the “monster Israelis.”
By the way, has anyone asked the United Nations where the 3 Israeli soldiers are that were supposed to be returned in exchange for ending the last war?
April 6th, 2008 at 7:31 pmI can’t wait till the Syrian Air Force sends its’ planes into the sky to meet the Israeli F-16s. It’ll be a turkey shoot just like last time when the final score was Israel 100-Syria 0. What a freaking disgrace for the towel-headed bed-sheeting A-Rabs. Israel immediately has air supremacy.
April 6th, 2008 at 8:31 pmKick their ass Israel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
franchie, excellent point. With elvis on board, there is hope for france
April 6th, 2008 at 8:32 pmOne more ass kickin like the IDF took in the last incursion into Lebanon might finally get Bibi Netanyahu back in charge.
April 6th, 2008 at 9:04 pmNow why would the Hizzies cooperate with such an order? If the civilians move, then the Hizzies won’t have any human shields. Without any human shields, the Hizzies and their fellow terrorist piglets won’t be able to cry “oh I’m a victim” when the IDF starts smashing Hizzie infastructure again. The Hizzies need lots of collateral damage for their propaganda grist mills.
Truth be told, there aren’t too many days that the Hizzies aren’t already hitting Israel with rocket or mortar fire. The fight IS already on.
The Israelis are also pretty fed up with their current wussy government. One more f-up by the current government and Ohmert and Co, can kiss their political lives good-bye.
The “Bibi for PM” bumper stickers are already being passed out.
April 7th, 2008 at 3:39 amIf the civvies really do leave, then the women and children that will show up as caualties will not be innocent victims of Israeli aggression? does that mena the world will have the proof that the Hizzies are the cause of civilian casualties? Or will they bring the dead form other areas to show how terrible the IDF is? Or maybe move the dead from the “clear” areas into other areas to stage IDF aggression against Civvy targets?
I cannot see the Hizzy slime to let the civilians leave. They need the shields, they have proven so many time sint he past they are not man enough to fight, rather attack from the shadows, hiding behind skirts. They are not even able to be considered guerilla fighters, as those are supposed to minimize collateral damage, yet Hesbolah and so many others actually try to maximise it. That should be proof that they have no honor, and the MSM should be printing that fact.
But, we all know that will not happen, the LMSM want nothing more than to always have the “if it bleeds it leads” mantra. How could they ever live up to their socialist facist ideals if they don’t support the fanatics of the world? They have to feel that they support the individual against government and business to sleep at night.
April 7th, 2008 at 6:48 amSyria has parked several armored divisions on their border with Israel. They are sitting ducks for tactical nukes, and are the least of Israel’s worries. Hezbolla now has double the amount of rockets with much longer ranges than they had before the 2006 summer war. That will be Israel’s main target - southern Lebanon.
April 7th, 2008 at 7:37 am3 divisions? That should tie down about 3 companies of the IDF. And maybe a coupla jets for air support.
