Iran Election: Conservatives Win With Crap Turnout
Come on, was there any doubt that this is exactly how the vote was going to go? Like they have a free election or something? What is good is the very low turnout. 25%? Goes to show you who how many Iranians don’t want the Conservative “Evil Mullah” party to win.
The story:
Iranian conservatives won a new victory in the second round of general elections both in the capital and the provinces according to partial results, state television reported Saturday on its website.
The conservatives were on their way to winning 10 of the 11 seats up for grabs in Tehran while a reformer, Alireza Mahjoub, looked like winning the 11th in Friday’s voting.
If the results are confirmed, conservatives would control 29 of the capital’s 30 seats.
In the countryside, less than 10 out of 36 seats went to reformers, according to official results.
The conservatives had already won a comfortable majority in the first round of voting on March 14.
Complete results were to be announced later Saturday, the interior ministry said. Turnout was only around 25 percent, which made counting quicker.

Iranian elections are for the consumption of Jimmy Carter and the MSM and no one else. Surely not Iranian civilians.
