“Precious!!!” The older Jimmy gets…

JERUSALEM - Israel says efforts by former President Jimmy Carter to work out a cease-fire with Gaza’s Hamas rulers failed.

Senior Defense Ministry official Amos Gilad says that Hamas presented nothing new in its demands for a truce during Carter’s recent meetings with officials of the militant group.

In fact, Hamas vehemently denied Carter’s claim that it ever agreed to recognize Israel’s existence, leaving the former President in a very embarrasing situation, and calling into question his very credibility.

Gilad told Israel’s Army Radio Tuesday that Mashaal had not budged in his demands, and thus the Carter mission failed.

Carter called Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal in Damascus on Monday to get him to agree to a one-month truce without conditions. But Mashaal rejected the idea.

Carter’s life is getting so embarrassing I’m almost starting to feel sorry for the guy, almost.

  2. Big

He had credibility prior to this trip?

exactly what credibility does a peanut farmer have in dealing with disputes in general?? (No offence to hard working sensible and honest peanut farmers every where who know to tend their own fields and not interfere elsewhere). It’s not like peanuts battle with other nuts over territory, then again maybe Jimmah thinks he can talk any nut into submission.. major problem is the nuts he’s dealing with today are shitkicker cowards who fire rockets into public spaces, care little about women, the elderly and strap C4 to their own children.. time to hang up your tutu Jimmah and retire quietly, for the good of all humanity.

Say, how’s that “revoke his passport” movement coming along? We better get that rammed through before Carter gets back.

No surprise Carter failed, but whats with the picture of James Carville?

Dhimmi Carter already looked stupid going over there and talking to Hamas; for them to dispute his claims of Hamas recognizing Israel is just icing on the cake.

You can’t get something from nothing. An idea from a failure more than likely will fail. Had he stuck with Habit for Humanity his legacy wouldn’t be such a sham.

  9. Goodbye Natalie

I consider this trip a rousing success in comparison to Jimmah’s four years as Commander-in-Chief and “chief” economist.

    It’s all in the outlook.

They played him from the start just like they played Pelosi. And they will continue to play to these political idiots as long as they ignore what these groups are really saying. To blast anyone who is willing to call these groups evil is facing reality.

Carter drove me from the democratic party when he was President.

I think that guy asked me for change the other day…

Maybe we can buy ol’ Jimmy Gollum a one-way ticket to visit Kilauea…
