Just days ago, Petraeus declared Iran the “New Public Enemy #1 In Iraq”. Little are paying attention as the war between the U.S. and Iran is switching from covert to “open war”.

I can’t believe Petraeus wants mook in the house.
He is a criminal that needs to be tried just like Saddam.

Mookie “is a a significant political figure … we want him to work within the political process” ?????

Please tell me that they’ve got a better plan to deal with this pole smoker, and that this public face is a ruse.

We are in a de facto state of war with Iran. There is no reason to soft-shoe with Mookie or his sponsors in Tehran. Call a pig a pig, then slaughter it.

Major defeat for JAM at the hands of US and Iraqi forces.

[[BAGHDAD – Multi-National Division – Baghdad soldiers, in a combined operation with Iraqi Army soldiers, killed several criminals in eastern Baghdad after their convoy was attacked by multiple road side bombs, and small-arms fire from adjacent high rise buildings April 11.

At approximately 9 p.m., soldiers from 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division soldiers, supporting Iraqi Army soldiers from the 42nd Brigade, 11th IA Div., killed two criminal snipers, two criminals firing rocket propelled grenades, and multiple others from a nearby building where soldiers were taking RPG and machine gun fire.

At the same time, soldiers from 1st CAB, 68th AR were transporting barriers, in support of Iraqi Army soldiers establishing a checkpoint, when two vehicles in the convoy were damaged when they struck more than six improvised explosive devices.

Small-arms fire, including sniper fire, machine-gun fire and RPGs were fired from buildings overlooking the road. Iraqi Army soldiers and 1-68 AR soldiers immediately returned fire with 7.62mm and 25mm small arms, killing at least four Special Groups members.

Secondary explosions were observed from the building immediately after, possibly indicating arms and munitions were stored in the building.

Small-arms fire continued to come from nearby buildings until 1st CAB, 68th AR engaged the buildings with two 122mm rounds from a M1A2 Abrams tank, killing two criminals and ending the small-arms attack.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., Airmen assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd BCT, operating an unmanned aerial vehicle reconnaissance platform identified three criminals emplacing additional IEDs.

The UAV fired one Hellfire missile, killing all three criminals.

“The most important part about what happened is that this was a combined mission, only two vehicles were damaged, no U.S. or Iraqi Army soldiers were seriously injured, and we went on to complete our mission,” said Maj. John Gossart, executive officer, 1st CAB, 68th AR, 3rd BCT, 4th Inf. Div.

“We are ever vigilant against criminals who commit random acts of violence and we will relentlessly hunt down these criminals who hide among Iraq’s law-abiding people.”]]

Iran is “just starting” a proxy war with the U.S. wow, right on top of things there at Fox aren’t ya Jen-baby. New’s flash, they’ve been doing it oh, since we invaded. But nice to see you’re on top of it! keep up the good work!

I suggest we not give Jen too hard a time. She does tremendous good work for our side, and I know for a fact she is privy to “special information” from the Military for her non anti-war bias. Watch the clip carefully, and tell me if what you see is the usual anti-Bush “Now that lunatic is calling Iran the enemy” bullshit.

If her reporting disappeared, the country would be the worse for it in terms of getting a pro-military, pro-war point of view.

If any of you can show me a similar clip by someone else in the MSM, I’m happy to post it.

There are things I know, that y’all don’t. And the fact that Jennifer works hand-in-hand with the military for the “right” kind of reporting is one of them.

What I try to do here is not just post stories, but post stories that indicate a trend. The subtext of this report was to signal that things are going to get heavier with Iran in terms of frontal confrontation than they have been.

These things don’t go up in random fashion. It may seem silly to you that she’s reporting about an “open proxy war with Iran” because you’ve heard it before, but it’s being re-reported in this fashion as a signal, and again, it’s not like you get it spelled out in such a straightforward fashion from the rest of the MSM. There is good reason she is suddenly restating what is obvious to people like you and me who already know and have accepted this. Many to most other people haven’t.

Watch closely. The information you get here is for reasons larger than a cool post of the moment. You get it because it is intended to signal bigger picture issues to come.

Clearly an Iranian puppet. They will leave him holding the bag. I cannot understand why this cleric does not see he is being played by Iran. Al-nouri’ s death, while tragic, may be the message Al Sadr needs to wake up. He has the choice to become a patriot for Iraq or remain a puppet for “Little Hitler”

  7. Mike Mose

Bush, Petraous, Chairman of the JC, Gates they have all stated the war with Iran is the next step. What they attempting to do with mookie is brake him away from Iran and to lead his people into the political process. If mookie doesn’t break away from Iran then he may receive the same kind of treatment his buddy did.

I would expect that Iran has about a week or two before all supply routes into and out of Iran are filled with gunships. I would also expect that Sadr city will feel an enormous amount of heat at the same time.

Bingo. The story’s out there now. The public will here about it a little more. Ramp up public awareness… Inevitably when we really smack the shit of of some Iranians it won’t be a “surprise” to the public or the rest of the world…or the Iranians.

I’ve always admired Jennifer’s reporting as well as the rest of the FOX crew in that screwed-up part of the globe.
