Louie’s Uncle Louie And I Stole Roger Waters’ Pig
You know, I like Courtney Friel, but we could never have a relationship, because her frame of reference on popular American culture is about as wide as Calista Flockhart’s ass.
That and I’m married and love my wife who, at 33, is hotter than Courtney.
But she called Roger Waters, “Roger Walters”…
Anyhow, I have been a huge Pink Floyd fan since DSOTM came out 1973. Although in the 80’s I had a parting of ways with Roger Waters and David Gilmour politically. And I’m certain that Roger would never be a Bash fan, I remain a fan.
I just like Pink Floyd.
So when Roger Waters played that music festival in Palm Beach this weekend, Louie and I saw that he had the rarely sighted, but always in mind, inflatable two story pig.
Louie looked at me, I looked at Louie, no words needed to be spoken. This explains my 8 hour disappearance on Saturday night.
Roger, your pig was nabbed by Louie’s Uncle Louie and I.
Louie’s Uncle Louie is an adept Apache pilot, we saw your floater, hooked him up, and drug him through the clouds like a thief in the hands of a Somalian lynch mob. It ended up in some lady’s driveway…probably a Bay City Rollers fan.
Oink oink.. bitch. I think I’ll toss out some synchronicity for ya, Rog!
And Courtney…for the very short amount of air time you get, you need to get it 100% right, do your research, young lady. Dark Side of the Moon holds the record for most weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts:
741 weeks…or, 14 years.
“Just five minutes, Worm, your Honor, him and me alone…” <--Not from DSOTM.
"I always said he'd come to no good in the end your honor, if you'd let me have my way I could have flayed him into shape.
But my hands were tied, the bleeding hearts and artists let him get away with murder
Let me hammer him today!" <----also not from DSOTM.
Bash - The Floyd / Oz clip is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time.

Yeah, Floyd rocks as far as music goes. I have been a fan as long as you, even when at the ripe age of 9 I became a fan when DSOTM came out. Yeah, what some musicians have spewed regarding political views is disgusting.
Best concert was in the Corps, when I got to see PF in Chapel Hill NC, on the momentray lapse of reason tour. the only birthday gift I have given myself that I remember longer than a day or two…
Anyway other musicians where the music was good, political commentary came out of their pie hole and I lost all repsect, and have refused to spend any more $$ on their music: Dixie Chicks (but I might still be willing to do them )Bruce Springsteen, and way too may others
April 30th, 2008 at 9:21 amBash,
I left Pink Floyd after the Final Cut. That thing with Gilmore only was a charade.
BTY How many copies of Dark Side have you bought?
2 vinyls, 3 cassettes and 2 CD’s so far for me.
I do not pirate music I keep. I like the pictures you get anyway.

She stands upon Southampton dock
April 30th, 2008 at 11:19 amWith her handkerchief
And her summer frock clings
To her wet body in the rain.
In quiet desperation knuckles
White upon the slippery reins
She bravely waves the boys Goodbye again
we need to float one of those over Tehran for a few days!
Pigs from space! Take that BITCH’S
April 30th, 2008 at 4:24 pmWhat do Dale Earnhart and Floyd have in common?
Their last hit was the wall.
April 30th, 2008 at 5:54 pmBash, you’re a man after my own tastes. Sad when such good talent opens their mouth to speak instead of sing.
April 30th, 2008 at 6:44 pmAw Shit Bash, I gotta be the one to tell you?
Record store Managers filled out, by HAND, the store’s sales figures!
When it was switched to digitally recorded sales figures in, I think the early 90’s, 50 to 75% of the Top 100 disappeared off the charts for good, including the Beatle’s White Album, PF’s DSOTM, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s deja’vu (sp) and all the other 60’s and 70’s rock albums the Record store Managers had a hard-on for.
The Record Store Managers were keeping them on the charts because they weren’t filling out sales figures, but instead were VOTING for their favorite album. YIKES
April 30th, 2008 at 8:50 pmI’m pretty sure I read this in Rolling Stone Magazine.
They were trying to explain why suddenly 7 of the Top Ten songs and Albums had in one week, switched from Rock to Country!
