Michelle Obama: “We Need More White People In The Crowd”
What if, say, John McCain held a rally in which all the people in the crowd behind him were hand-picked (as was this Michelle Obama event) and McCain looked out at the crowd and said to one of his co-ordinators “Hey, get some more black people in here would ya? We don’t want to appear racist here.”
That, in a nutshell, is what Michelle Obama just did at a recent speaking engagement at Carnegie Mellon University.
This is an excerpt from The Tartan Onlien, the school’s student newspaper:
While the crowd was indeed diverse, some students at the event questioned the practices of Mrs. Obama’s event coordinators, who handpicked the crowd sitting behind Mrs. Obama. The Tartan’s correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, “Get me more white people, we need more white people.” To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, “We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.”
“I didn’t know they would say, ‘We need a white person here,’ ” said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. “I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn’t know it would be so outright.”
Well now ya fucking do, sweetheart, welcome to the speaking event of a racist.
Nods to LGF.

And I agree, 007…. God help us all.
There would be a lot of honky’s in the crowd if your big eared hubby was a conservative. Unfucking believable…

April 8th, 2008 at 6:01 pm“Sorry sweetie, but we have a quota to make. I’m sure you’re just as qualified, if not more so, as this white lady, to sit behind me. But, unfortunately we have to keep up appearances.”
We need more white people in the crowd.
April 8th, 2008 at 6:49 pmWTF is that?
Oops, another racist statement by one of our wanna be for prez.
Shame on you Mrs. O’Bambam.
How much do you pay your token “whities”?
April 8th, 2008 at 7:28 pmWhat if? You seriously think that the Black folks who get to speak at the Republican convention just magically show up?
Seriously, are you that green?

You are absolutely right. I am starting to wonder how he is staying in the race. No one is asking any questions that need to be asked. I just can’t bring myself to believe that the majority of people in this country will vote for a racist to be our President. The silence of the Black community baffles me also. I don’t know if all Black churches preach the hate that Obama’s church does, but their silence gives implied consent.

You don’t think that black folks can be conservative? Are you that bigoted?
