You’re right about the risk of losing his foot.
My 29 y.o. niece cracked off a small piece of the ankle bone where it attaches to the foot, there was huge concern about the entire end of the bone dying and losing her foot, she didn’t but she’ll have arthritis in it for the rest of her life.
Her injury was nothing compared to the guy’s in the video

April 10th, 2008 at 6:37 pmI can’t watch vids like that. Real life, blood gore, body parts, screaming….no big, but something about the anticipation of knowing its coming in a video just gets to me. I’ve cut my hand all to burger with a 27″ bar chainsaw and just got mad(and passed out from the blood loss and shock after a while) but make a nice clean incision with a scalpel and I just turn green and lose it. No idea why I’m like that.
April 10th, 2008 at 10:10 pmI had a similar accident. I was wearing boots and my ankle/foot swelled so fast they had to cut the boot off. A couple stainless steel screws fixed it. Arthritic to this day though.
