Yesterday, Move America Forward’s Chairman, Melanie Morgan, highlighted an ad by the Democratic National Committee that uses scenes of U.S. troops being blown up to advance their political goals.
Melanie contrasted the DNC ad with the ads and rallies of Move America Forward, to show what REAL support for our troops looked like.
In the process she asked for your financial support so we can meet our immediate goal of raising $100,000 to counter the summer activities of those in the anti-war movement. That $100,000 pales in comparison to what the anti-military movement will have at their disposal - but this first installment of financial support will enable us to step up our efforts.
I just looked at the donations received online since Melanie’s email went out. It made me very sad. Here we have political parties, Hollywood celebrities, and liberal billionaires spending untold millions to undermine support for the missions our troops are serving on.
Yet when America’s largest pro-troop organization asks for help, the response was largely silent.
We can do better. Our children’s future requires us to do better. America deserves a better response from us in the pro-troop community.
PLEASE - Contribute online right now and help equip us with the ability to counter the anti-war activists whether on TV or on the ground here in America. Do not fail us, or our troops. There are absolutely NO contribution limits, and corporate contributions are allowed.
