    He;s just giving a prepared speech. He looks sincere to me.
    What’s he going to do say that because he was raised in Nazi Germany and jump up and shout “Heil Hitler”? Or maybe he’s suppose to wave a magic wand and wipe out the past that he can do nothing about?

    No. He’s no more or less than anyone else: Imperfect and human. He made his point. Good for him.

    :smile: I like this man. At least he is trying to make amends and he has apologized several times in the U.S. for the U.S. church pedophiles.
    As much as Pope John Paul 2 is loved and revered, he dropped the ball big time on this terrible time in the U.S.
    Pope Benedict is cool.
