					<description>Still by far the better of the two senators from this state, in spite of his "past".  He argued on the senate floor against signing the "Law of the Sea" and giving up our sovereignity, he argued against the Shamnesty Bill helping to defeat it.

His townhall meeting in Gonzales, LA was overflowing in a southern suburb of Baton Rouge and where many of the white folk from St. Bernard Parish (took a much larger hit than New Orleans with Katrina) have relocated to.  That small city votes overwelming conservative, not party but ideology.

When I was at LAOEP command center during the immediate days after Katrina, he was actually working, instead of only showing up for the camera crews like Landrieu did.</description>
