Here in the US a super delegate for Obama said to the kids next door to her, “get out of that tree, you’re acting like a bunch of monkeys”. Obviously they told their parents. The parents called the police and she was given a ticket for $75. The kids are black and she is hispanic and in her 50s or 60s. A perfectly innocent expression was deemed to be racist. All kids have been called monkeys, until now. There’s even the expression, “what’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys”? There are no more barrels full of anything that are funny, not with the thought police around every turn. More so in Europe than here right now we have to be concerned what with what primitives have to say or think, we’re supposed to keep our mouths shut. BB, if she had said “look at the horrors that the Catholics have done to animals since they don’t require them to not eat meat on Friday”. It’s an absurd thing to say but you know as well as I no one would have said a thing. In fact some would have believed it and would be circling Notre Dame with pitchforks and torches.
