So i guess David Copperfield wont be coming to Saudi Arabia.

“he made mecca disappear!” “its a witch!, off with his head!!”

Nice to have us Christians & Jews lumped in with these assholes. I don’t remember the last time I saw a good head choppin at church. Maybe I’ll check out a Synagogue. I bet they have em every Saturday and twice a day during Hannakah.

Wrong title. Should read: “This is Shariah Law.”

Shariah is shariah everywhere. No exceptions.

I witnessed a stoning in Saudi Arabia in the ’70s in a traffic circle and a beheading on TV around the same time. It made quite an impression on me at 14.

Where were you in Saudi? I spent 4 years in Jubail (1996-2000). All the westerners warned newcomers to stay the hell out of Dhahran and Dammam on Friday after 11am to avoid being forced to witness the beheadings.

Savage country. In 4 years there, I met about 2 Saudis I would ever want to meet ever again.

Achmed the dead terrorist is apparanently alive and well in
Islam-istan. Wouldn’t you just love to wipe your ass with some Koranic TP and mail the used portion back to Mecca?

It was a short-ish visit I know I was in Dhahran and Riyadh and a couple of other place, not sure where I saw the stoning and the beheading was on TV in the hotel. My family was living in Cairo at the time. I knew a lot of American kids that were living in Saudi, Iran etc because we had a track and field meet with all the other American College schools in the ME every year.

I had already seen plenty of brutality by that time but not anything so…I don’t know, clinical maybe?…it was like ho-hum for those people.

I understand why most Americans there, then and now, stay in their compounds.

I’ve not known you to be a nutjob around here but that “moral equivalence” crap has no place here.

Wow … A ME version of Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible” … only real … and in the 21st Century.

No doubt Islam is a dysfunctional, perverted religion. Why does the creator of the film find it necessary to slam Christianity and Judaism in the last frame? WHEN was the last time a Christian or a Jew beheaded anyone?
