What Is With These Dumbass 911 Operators Lately?
Interesting CCTV video with Audio narration and the mans 911 call to police.Video explains all.
Text from source:Just call 911 the anti self protection crowds answer to protect yourself.
Watching this video is proof how calling 911 could get you hurt.Help is 2 minutes away and the Columbus OH 911 operator seems more concerned with the criminal and the callers tone than providing any help.
That dispatcher bitch is about a dumb as a sack of hammers.
April 27th, 2008 at 10:05 amAnd WTF is with her telling the guy to “put the gun down”?
This was just odd. The man’s being robbed and she’s worried about him being rude? Well excuse the fuck out of him for being wound a little tight at the fuckin’ moment. And where the hell did these two go? They’re just walking around the business after being confronted by a man with a gun who’s calling the police.
April 27th, 2008 at 11:34 amHe should’ve went out of sight of the cameras and just shot these fuckers.
It took about 6 minutes or better for the cops to get there after he made the call, the whole thing took about 9min. That’s plenty of time for shit to go wrong. It’s a good thing he didn’t have to run to his gun, unlock it and load it first.
I’ve had to hold a meth freak off with one of my rifles for over 45 minutes once waiting on the 911 operator to figure out weather or not it was safe to send out the police Fortunately I didn’t end up having to shoot the guy, the police didn’t want to believe that it took the operator 45 minutes to dispatch them until they found out someone in the house was still on the phone with the 911 operator
911 is only good for letting them know where to find your dead body!
April 27th, 2008 at 12:39 pmLooks to me like the Officers that responded already knew the 911 operator was a Dumbass, cause they sure as hell weren’t tripping on the Business owner having a gun when they arrived! Buy those guys a round !
I’ve made two 911 calls in my life, both were in Salem Oregon about 10 years apart, The first was when a lady in her 70’s drove down the Railroad Tracks and got her car stuck after hitting the Mechanical Box that operates the signal arm (Granny was totally wasted on whiskey), my friend helped her out of the car while I drove to the pay phone on the next block to call 911 because there was a Train coming… Fortunately while the 911 operator was saying to me quote: “and what do you expect me to do about it?”, a Police Officer happened by and was able to use his lights to flag down the train (which stopped within a hundred feet of her car)… The second time is another story, but guess what the 911 operator said to me? Quote: “and what do you expect me to do about it?”…
Thanks to 911 experiences my rule of thumb has become: Always be prepared to handle the situation on your own, then call the appropriate authorities to take a report…
April 27th, 2008 at 12:59 pmMy experience is the same. Irrelevant questions, total inability to grasp the situation, asking me things I’ve already told her. Another time I’d managed to memorize a license plate, and the first thing I said was “CT reg 123-ABC” except he interrupted me to ask me my name. I repeated the reg from my pretty shakey, stressed memory, and he did the school teacher scolding routine you hear in this post. I tried to repeat the reg again, but he interrupted, and demanded my name.
They are idiots. I’m sure there are some good ones, but the ones I’ve encountered have ALL been idiots. When he finally asked me the reg I told him I could no longer recall it thanks to him being a f***ing idiot. See, they think they’re cops. And, to them, cops are people who get to push people around, and demand “respect.”
April 27th, 2008 at 1:22 pmThey should hire dispatchers of taxis if they want the job done right. I think it’s a nepotism thing.
