April 15th, 2008 at 4:23 pmI knew many people who taught English in Japan, and they all said the same thing. The entire country runs like a Swiss watch, but the trains are packed, literally, like sardines.
And those bellhops…they are paid to do just what you saw in the video.
Ya’d think they’d get more trains.
April 15th, 2008 at 4:34 pmGUFFAW! I won’t bitch next time I tell my wife the backseat is to small for a family of four.
No wonder they’re so damn good at being contortionists and gymnasts.

April 15th, 2008 at 5:22 pmOkay …
My recent trip to D.C. …
THAT IS exactly how packed the shuttle bus from the Dulles A.P. to the D.C. Metro train station was.
I shit you not.
I was standing within arm’s reach behind the driver. If he let one more body on at one more stop I was going to punch him in the back of the fucking head.
And he drove like a damn idiot.

April 15th, 2008 at 8:01 pmI say again, the Nipponese are just WEIRD!
Often very cool, but still WEIRD!
April 15th, 2008 at 8:35 pmYeah, this is how they do things in Japan. Crazy! I get real edgy when people invade my bubble! No way could I ride the train there.
April 15th, 2008 at 8:36 pmIts the same here in korea, but not that bad! I’ve never seen such an extreme
April 15th, 2008 at 10:04 pmGuess they don’t have to worry about the weight limit on those trains like we do with elevators
April 15th, 2008 at 10:17 pmThe subway gets almost that crowded sometimes, but when some pushy asshole tries something like this, he usually gets an elbow in the ribs. “Oh, sorry, didn’t see you trying to squeeze into my damn armpit…”
And don’t get me started on the fucks who lean on the poles.
April 15th, 2008 at 10:40 pmahahahahhaah you would think those guards would be like ok folks thats to many people its not safe lol!
April 15th, 2008 at 11:41 pmthose crazy japanese haah i bet its a gropeAthon in there
Why are other countries better than America? That is insane.
April 16th, 2008 at 4:18 amMust be the only train to Tokyo each day. Why the hell ELSE would those morons subject themselves to that shit? I traveled to NYC from 1976 through 1990 and then again from 1998 through 2001, all on public transportation. Some passengers would cram on to subways or LIRR trains but not to that extent. And if I were the last one to get on I would NEVER push on people ahead of me like that. It’s just freakin’ rude.
April 16th, 2008 at 4:25 amPrecisely why I never rode the train in India, that and B.O. would have caused me to go postal.
