  1. TBinSTL (just typical)

Not terribly funny but not racist at all.

  2. just posting

    I second that

  3. Vehement

Of course it was. Anytime a white man makes fun of someone else it’s racist. Haven’t we learned that?
But Lovitz has a point. With drugs, guns and AIDS the government has given to blacks, they should have eliminated themselves by now. It’s like trying to kill a bunch of roaches.

Was it racist??? Hard to say. Was he making fun of the government because it was doing a bad job( as usual) about getting rid of black people or was it making fun at the fact that the government didnt do a good job at getting rid of black people.. Thin ice on this one. Not funny and quite questionable. I like Jon and would hate to think he’s like the rest of them!

Those who know Jon get that remark right away, those that don’t may have to mull it over. Those who don’t like him probably won’t defend him if it even needs to be defended. Those who are after him may try to craft something out of it. But the danger is when people get a real event like the Tuskegee Study that was done by the U.S. Government as opposed to the Rev. Wright remarks about HIV and the Government.

Respond now.
