Those success stories could’ve ONLY happened in the UNITED STATE of AMERICA, the home of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happyness”…you know…the ideals the Dims detest so much.

  2. Dan (The Infidel)

Told he was too stupid in math class and that he would never amount to nothing by his teacher in third grade - his name: Albert Einstein.

  3. T-Bagg

    That’s a pretty good video. I like,

  4. Dan (The Infidel)

At least one family relative suggested that she be locked away in an institution, as she was “unsightly” and seemed unlikely to ever change for the better. Her name: Helen Keller.

    Cool-nice message

Yes, finally teach these kids that being wrong and failure are a part of life. Instead of coddling them and appeasing their fragile minds and handing everything to them, we can teach them that the capitalist spirit goes a long way.

  7. Dan (The Infidel)

Failure is the front door to success. People use to say that if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again. They used to cite Edison as an example. He tried something like 800 experiments before he arrived at a filiment for a light bulb that worked without burning up.

Patience, hard work, being in the right occupation, studying hard, will get you as far as you want to go in life. Never give up, never quit trying. And don’t sit on your laurels after you achieve success…raise the bar even higher. Use your God-given talent responsibly and honerably.

Anyone in America can achieve great things.

“Before you can accept winning, you have to accept loosing” Vince Lombardi

  9. Kevin M

Lousy student who achieved little better than Cs and Ds in high school: Colin Powell.

  10. Q_Mech

Dan, he also couldn’t get a job and wound up working at a customs office. This was after he had such a difficult time supporting his family that he gave up his infant daughter for adoption, where she apparently died in the orphanage.

  11. Kurt(the infidel)

“If you’ve never failed, you’ve never lived”

    Amen to that!

  12. CBL

If we are going to talk about Edison, then it would be a mistake not to bring up George Westinghouse and Nikola Tesla because if not for these two individuals Edison wouldnt have had anything to plug his lightbulb in to.

  13. brovato

Graduated near the bottom of his class at West Point–George Patton!

“Why do we fall, sir? So that we might learn to pick ourselves up.” - Alfred Pennyworth, Batman Begins
