I HOPE HE IS CARYING AN EXTRA PAIR OF PANTS.

I think hunting of big game like lions should be banned. Where is the sport in killing a lion with a high-powered rifle? Hardly a sport. The lion does not have a chance. A magnificent animal killed for no good reason except for a laugh.

    Michael:

I take it you don’t hunt.
If you have to explain hunting to those who don’t, they wouldn’t get it anyhow.
I like my wild pig, elk, bear and dove. They do taste good and I don’t say that to get under someone skin. Game animals have a different taste than domestic raised food stock and I like the flavor.

Oh, by the way people do eat lionmeat

Bullshit they do, I am for big game hunting like buffalo and hippo and even elephant but why would you want to kill an animal that is going extinct and as majestic as a lion, that’s just a waste. In Kenya not even the Masai hunt these animals anymore and they do it with club and spear try that, anyone can hold a gun and shoot.

Please read the book “Death in the Tall Grass” by Peter Capstick. It’s all about hunting animals in Africa that are at the same time hunting you.

I am not a hunter. Never was, never will be. Got nothing against hunting. But shooting a lion with a high-powered rifle is the LEAST possible practical method of not becoming lion food. Personally, I would prefer a heat-seeking missile.

Fact: More than a few hunters have taken a high-powered rifle and blown a lion’s heart (and grizzly bears) into tiny flakes of tissue with huge guns and been killed by these animals, just because there is enough oxygen remaining in their bloodstream that they can ravage you into shreds with a completely destroyed heart.

    Don’t
    Ever
    Play
    With
    Lions!

“anyone can hold a gun and shoot.”

Let’s see you stand there with a very pissed off maneater about to rip your fucking liver right out and deliver ONE incapacitating shot.

    Anyone can shoot…right….

I WAS WONDERING WHEN THE PANSY ASS ANTI HUNTERS WOULD REAR THEIR UGLY HEADS.

    Well said.

It takes a finger to pull a trigger.

It takes an entire body with nerves of steel to keep your shit when a 600-pound maneater is racing at you at 30 mph.

If lions are on the endangered list, then we shouldn’t hunt them. But the concept that anybody can face a charging lion without blasting butterscotch in their pants does not know what a fucking lion is.

  10. Tom Jones

Yes anyone can hold a gun and shoot and I ain’t no pansy ass anti hunter, I myself hunt but have never hunted lion, so get to know someone before calling them names

The video has no back story to it, so here are a couple possibilites.
    1) The lion was a man-eater and had to be killed to protect local population.
    2) The hunters were looking for something else and became hunted by the lion.

The hunter could have shot this animal at a distance, but did not. 1 second later and this would have been a video of a man being eaten by a lion.

  12. Tom Jones

Anyone CAN pull a trigger but not all go hunting for lions. If it is a man eater so be it shoot the lion.

  13. One Shot

Tom, I suggest sobriety before further typing.

I always thought you could sing circles around that Charlotte Church bitch!

“It’s not unusual to be loved by anyone…”

    Great stuff!

I’ve hunted all my life but I do have a problem hunting game that is not regulated and may go extinct…I would have no problem if big game such as lions would be regulated for the use of hunting but as from what I understand it isn’t.

  16. Kurt(the infidel)

Im for hunting all kinds of animals. big game, small game. but there is something about hunting lions that bothers me. Im not going to preach to anyone or anything about this, not my style but that is my opinion on it.

Im mostly into hunting deer and turkey. sometimes squirrel hunting. oh and arrowhead hunting as well, without a gun of course  you can find tons of those around here
