Marcus Luttrell: “You Never Talk About Mom, And You Never Talk About My State!”
Marcus Luttrell, a former Navy SEAL whose story of heroism in Afghanistan is told in his book “Lone Survivor,” shared his world view at the National Rifle Association event in Louisville on May 16.
The ONLY reservations I would have if this man decided to run for a seat in the US Congress … Is that I wouldn’t be able to vote FOR him …
Now that is my definition of a badass.
May 25th, 2008 at 8:58 amTrue hero, right there.
May 25th, 2008 at 9:18 amSaw this on another site and chortled a bit because he is so un p.c. you have to love it
May 25th, 2008 at 12:38 pmHis story is used as an example during SEAR training. Never give up. Salute
May 25th, 2008 at 5:00 pmI’m glad this finnaly got up! I met Lutrell and Bellavia during the Heroes Tour…wow…just…wow! Don’t forget to read their books…”Lone Survivor” by Lutrell and “House to House” by Bellavia. If you’re in upstate NY remember that David Bellavia is running for Congress and needs your support!
May 25th, 2008 at 5:53 pmMarcus, you are a tough and brave patriot! I am proud to call you an American. Never give up! I am so sorry for all who have served and hear the MSM lies. I think that would be more painful than I could imagine - to have my sacrifices portrayed as meaningless. God, I hate the MSM self-rigteous pukes. Marcus sets them straight!
May 25th, 2008 at 7:19 pmLove the bar story. That’s the way you handle weasels, Also a good way to introduce them to a door jam. LOL
Oh, I suspect Mr Luttrel will be running for office one of these days soon. He’s too smart and too fired up to go unnoticed by some brilliant campaign manager like Karl Rove.
This country…especially this useless Congress of ours needs guys like this to remind the socilaist pussy-ass Dhimis that patriots and warriors still live in this country and we’re sick of their PC-asses.
Hey, but what did you expect from an ex-SEAL anyways? This guy is no Jessie Ventura by any stretch. Ventura is an anomoly. Luttrel is the norm.
Get some brother…keep telling it like it is.
Damn straight you don’t talk bad about Texas!
It’s so good to hear the words of a true hero considering what I’m used to seeing in the mainstream. It’s just too bad the MSM jumps all over and nationalizes each coward that refuses to serve in an “illegal” war while the majority of us have to search high and low for something like this.
God Bless this guy….
May 26th, 2008 at 6:35 amHere’s the other half of that one-two punch I’ve been pushing: David Bellavia

Luttrel is an awesome patriot and he speaks for so many of our fine men and women who serve. God bless him for all his service and sacrifice for our country, freedom and safety.
Enemy there/enemy here doesn’t make any difference - he walks the walk and talks the talk of victory.
May 26th, 2008 at 10:50 amNo PC bullshit!
More common sense in his little finger than our political class possess in all of their mansions.
He is brave, he is humorous and he is -in spite of everything!- still an optimist. Tougher than a John Wayne cowboy and with a heart for his buddies that is soft.
He is quintessentially American. These men are truly the best of us and remind us of what we come from.
The Metrosexual Media must despise this man and everything he represents. And who could play him in the film that inevitably will come out of his unbelievable story? Ashton Kutcher? Ben Affleck? Matt Damon? There is no Gary Cooper, no John Wayne. No men.
And can we be blunt? Every liberal girl from Arrianna Huffington to Charlize Theron is wishing to slip him their phone number. Their dream man may not be John Edwards, Matt Lauer or Barack Obama.
Finally, I hope he met some NY cops and firemen or at least some regular people who do not share the creepy attitudes of our wealthy elite.
