May 27th, 2008 at 10:00 amBLACK HAWK DOWN
We have got a serious problem here. 320,000 I repeat 320,000 returning troops who need HELP.
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? More are going to die at home than died in combat!!!!!
Anybody got a plan?
I do.
May 27th, 2008 at 10:35 amwhats your plan?
May 27th, 2008 at 10:42 am
What are ya talkin’ about littlefox?
May 27th, 2008 at 11:17 amWe’ve been working on it for over 2 years. Hit some major brick walls that include a beautiful, dangerous, transvestite con!!!
She/He told me she/he was a Grant writer…Another story
The plan as of now in a nut:
Less than a mile from where I live in St. Croix USVI, also known as Americas Paradise, there is an abandoned HUD project.
It sits on 15 acres of BEACH FRONT land. It is next to an old abandoned hotel (that went out of business because the thugs from the project raped and pillaged the hotel guest-tax dollars hard at work, thank you JFK) This hotel is a knock down on 35 acres. It is for sale for 2M.
We are getting ready to present our biz plan to Sir Allen Stanford, TX Billionaire who just built a 38M$$$ home here.
We are going to ask him (actually his philanthropy man) for 10M to open Ft. Freedom or the Allen Standford Military Resort. I don’t care what it is called.
We are working with a group in CO One Freedom. They have the therapies and several Doctors and are working on opening facilities in the Mountains.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world.
May 27th, 2008 at 11:34 amFirst, as a flight attendant then as the wife of an Anheuser-Busch International businessman.(The last 10 yrs he was the BUD-MAN to the Military
I’ve been to over thirty islands including the Maldives and the is NO place like St. Croix. It is so PEACEFUL. If we get the money we will need some qualified workers? Anybody want to move to St. Croix?
One other thing…To raise awareness and funds I wrote and illustrated a “Children’s Book”, it is for adults too! It is an allegory of a true story…”The Fox and the Beaver
On Their Way to Ft. Freedom”
Anybody out there know a publisher, editor etc that might take a look at it?
T-Bagg Did you read the LA times link?
I sent my plan a few min ago?????
May 27th, 2008 at 11:42 amDoes somebody read every post before it goes up?

May 27th, 2008 at 3:37 pmNo I didn’t littlefox. I some how skipped right over it. Sorry. That will be my next stop right after I ask this question:
I wanna know if it’s alright that I copy and paste some of the articles from this site and post them up on FaceBook and Myspace. I put a link to this site right at the top so people can visit. Sometimes I’ll just post a link to the home page and tell people to check it out. Can I get in trouble for this?
May 27th, 2008 at 5:20 pm:arrow:T-Bagg I have no idea.

May 27th, 2008 at 6:43 pmMake yourself feel smart..or dumb, as the case may be! See if you are smarter than the average Harvard or Yale student when in comes to US civics:

This is actually a pretty hard test and seems a good measure of civics knowledge. Also it is part of a serious study.
May 28th, 2008 at 12:10 amLittlefox, on the LA Times article,
I watched VA Sec. Peake on C-Span at a Press club lunceon on 5/20/2008 and he said the recommendations of those studies are being acted upon with more equipment and personel being hired to detect and treat TBI. He said, unfortunatelly, finding and hiring these specialists is a problem as they are in demand in the private sector also, and to train inhouse medicals will take 6 months or so.
The PTSD crisis is the same, finding Psycs with PTSD expertise for the outreach clinics is troublesome, they have hours in ABCD, but some not many hours on PTSD, so they have to be brought up to snuf OJT with others in house.
He said on the claims back log of some 820,000 now, they’ve hired 3,100 new adjuticators last winter (takes a year and a half to train them). New systems records coordinations systems between them and the DoD medicals are still being designed etc., so it seems like things are in the mill to solve the problems…just that I think by the time they are done, they’ll need more.
One point he ran by was a new designation for active duty PTSD sufferers called PTSNR..Post Traumatic Stress-Normal Reaction. Getting PTSD splattered on your record has a stigma that may hamper your rank advancement, so many never seek counseling. So, that limbo of diagnosing to what degree it may effect your job has another catagory where, yeah, you got sleep and other problems, but now with treatment you are OK for duty. Great idea I thought as even being diagnosed with it in the private sector on some jobs, you will be grounded by your insurance carrier etc., and this new catagory might work in civy jobs too.
May 28th, 2008 at 5:22 amNow here is a must read story.
anyone remember white house spokesmen Scott McClellan? well he decided to write a book and rip the shit out of President Bush in it. Carl Rove was asked about the allegations and said it doesnt sound like the guy he has known for years, said he sounds more like a liberal blogger.

My Dad, X-Pittsburgh Pirate, Veteran(USAF Jet-Pilot)Self-made millionaire businessman always said “To succeed, find a need and fill it.”
I see a need and a way to fill it. It is a dream of mine that I’ve been working on for some time.

Kurt(the infidel), I can’t fathom that regular readers here do not remember McClellan. That is part of the reason for the dollard addiction.
May 28th, 2008 at 3:10 pmI remember McClellan…I always thought he was an idiot and didn’t belong. This is obviously an effort by someone that realizes he doesn’t have the balls to play with the big boys.

Can anyone tell me why Shannon Elizabeth (an adolescent fantasy of mine
) fell from the spotlight, the past few years? Good to see her again.
May 28th, 2008 at 4:32 pmhttp://www.maxim.com/Shannonelizabeth/girls_of_maxim/857.aspx
littlefox, you were commenting yesterday about PTSD.
The link below has quite a bit of up to date info on what the U.S. Military is seeing and doing about PTSD.
The guys at StrategyPage are straight shooters without an alarmist point of view. (ask drillanwr
)
Just search for “PTSD” and 9 search pages of articles will come up covering the last 2 1/2 years. I hope this helps.

May 28th, 2008 at 6:18 pmThanks for the tip. I have been studying PTSD,causes, cures
and OIF /OEF soldier stats since ‘04. At that time, my husband,( Budweisers Rep to the Military} was hosting
“welcome home” parties. I could see it in the faces of so many…they didn’t talk about it. But,it was obvious to me some needed more than a beer and a thank you.
This story is long…it takes so many twists and turns. It has been an AMAZING ride. I believe God has been grooming my husband for this purpose…to help the returning vets. After 28 yrs of hustling Bud,(which included getting caught in a coup in Liberia in ‘85, a plane crash in Costa Rica and starting a brewery in China) my man was fed up with the corporate scene.
Especially from 7 figure salaried corp.execs who did not serve in the military.
May 28th, 2008 at 6:32 pmBut, He loved working with the Vets.
He took an early retirement. He does not want to “retire”, but to do something else with the rest of his life. The biggest problem he has with my plan is ASKING for money (non-profit).( I think he asked his mom once when he was 4 or 5 and has NEVER asked anyone for money since!)
He has a real hard time with that…I bet Pat does too.
I DON’T!!!
Larry!
May 28th, 2008 at 6:39 pmwell thats cool. the minors or the big leagues, still farther than most of us one time ball players ever got
May 28th, 2008 at 7:47 pmI agree with you completely Larry. You bring up a good point.
