MOH Recipient Bud Day Talks About Being McCain’s Cellmate At Hanoi Hilton
The most decorated U.S. Service member since General Douglas MacArthur, Medal of Honor recipient Colonel Bud Day, was John McCain’s cellmate while they were POWs in Vietnam at the infamous Hanoi Hilton.
Bud Day talks about it…
Both of these men are pure heroes and patriots. I’d be proud to serve under President John McCain.
May 8th, 2008 at 9:49 amTake a look at the picture of Col. Day in the middle with his dress whites on. You think that puke columnist for the Times that dogged Gen. Petraeus for his medals would say the same regarding this man, a true national treasure? In a way I wish he would so that all hell would rain down upon him.
Col. Day, I solute you sir.
May 8th, 2008 at 10:18 amA large part of my gripe about today’s society is that in the boomer’s zeal to prove what rebels they were, they threw the baby out with the bathwater because of the fake coolness related to ‘bad’ being ‘good’.
I don’t see today’s society sufficiently honoring guys like that. While I disagree with some of McCain’s ideas, I will never say that he is not a standup guy.
