I so agree with this statement: "the central premise of his campaign, that he is the bringer of a “new politics,” rising above the old Washington ways of expediency" When Wright was asked what he thought about Obama's remarks in response to Wright's rants, Wright stated that Obama was being a politician and just saying what people needed to hear. In essence Wright was saying "There ain't no change with Obama, there ain't no new politics, just the same old game" I think that's what motivated Obama to disown him.
