After a while, the constant dribbing and drabbing of their drivel makes you think they are normal and you are odd. Then, slowly, slowly, it either starts to eat away at your values, or you are just angry all the time. So, living among the fruits and nuts that will vote for Obama makes me very pessimistic: I see 20 or so years of a reprise of the Carter years, until the people revolt again a la Reagan Revolution. They didn't learn their lesson the first time. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. I live in California, land of fruits and nuts.
