Okay - Last night, I was in here on the computer and my husband started screaming LOUD - I MEAN REALLY LOUD! - from the living room . . .
“YA’LL ARE MISSIN’ IT!”
My daughter and I ran to the living room - we thought someone was breaking in and he had pulled out his gun or something!
The thing is the Rangers pitcher threw the ball high and down the middle - no where near that lug Richie Sexson’s head . . . that 200 batting average goof planned on charging the mound before the pitch. He was the only one thrown out because the umpires knew the pitcher was NOT throwing at Sexson. The Rangers commentator (Tom Grieve) was hillarious - He got really mad and said that Sexson played baseball like a girl. Now his call was right on!
This call said that the Rangers hit Sexson - didn’t happen - not even close. Should have hit him.
The bad thing is the young pitcher had to go out a couple of pitches later with a bad back - He had just come back from a back injury and he was pitching great and now that ostrich-looking lug Sexson caused him to re-injure.
For what!

May 9th, 2008 at 11:58 amI just noticed this on Dollard. I don’t know of any fans that want to keep Sexson here in Seattle. Could you possibly talk to Tom Hicks and see if he will buy out his overinflated contract please. I know Texas isn’t that foolish, but until his contract expires, we’re stuck with him. Also, I was looking for the 1998 Randy Johnson vs Kenny Lofton near ‘brawl’, if you want to see some wicked flirts with Mr. Snappy up around Kenny’s “wheelhouse”, find that video.
