In addition because the men are wearing white shirts they reflect in the polished sides of the elevator and are illuminated from the front as the doors open. If the "ghost" has a shadow from a light source why doesn't the shadow fill with light from the direction of the door and why then doesn't it's brightness reflect in the polished walls of the elevator? There is a few band of light in the elevator before the men arrive and the image manipulation is rather slick as the man crosses over the "ghost", however its not a very difficult job to accomplish in todays digital age.
