    1. Fake

    2. He went by two guys paddling out who looked like they could’ve cared less that a 15′ shark was within 20′ of them…yeah, right.

Fake. Sharks have a vertical tail and another fin between the dorsal fin and the tail. When they swim with the dorsal fin out of the water the other fin and tail are visible half the time or more. This was a BIG FAKE dorsal fin

Very fake, but creative. You can see the wash of the boat towing the fake dorsal fin towing the surfer at :55 seconds into the clip. I was skiing behind a boat on a surf board in 1974 (we called id skurfing) on the Brazos river, we’ve been doing it ever since then, long before they called it wake boarding!

    Fake

Real or fake…let me see. You want to get pulled around on your surfboard by a killer white shark, so you toss out some meat on a hook connected to a fishing pole.

    Brilliant scheme. Except that…

    1. You cannot reliably predict that a shark will take the meat and not your ass,

    2. Who’s to say the shark doesn’t swallow the meat and then your surfboard?

    3. Since when can a surfer maintain balance on a surfboard while holding onto a fishing rod that is being hoisted by a giant shark?

    4. That fin didn’t move. Shark fins are cartilagenous and flap around. They are not made out of plywood. Also, as has been mentioned by another poster, there was no evidence of a tail.

    5. You would have to be certifiably, suicidally stupid to get onto a surfboard and attempt to lure a giant killer shark near you.

Verdict: Fake (but, yes, very creative).

  6. Big

    Fake but awesome
