Weapons Cache, 5 Wanted Men Arrested Inside Mosque in Baghdad

Baghdad, May 19, (VOI) – An Iraqi army force captured five wanted men and seized arms, ammunition and explosive charges inside a mosque in Baghdad on Monday, the spokesman for the Baghdad operations command said.
“The five wanted men were arrested thanks to intelligence tips inside the al-Sharoufi mosque in the northeastern Baghdad district of al-Shaab,” Maj. General Qassem Atta told Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq – (VOI).
“Twenty-four explosive devices, six RPG-7 launchers, 20 missiles, 50 hand grenades and 5,000 BKC machine-guns were seized,” Atta added.
