Just this time aligned with the Democracies from the beginning. A strong Germany would be a major benefit to the League of Democracies. Too bad their shame of their past is sinking their future. That would be like us forfeiting our future because of America's many past indiscretions. Get over it and get on with being a decent country in the future. Its military sci fi that is very insightful about attitudes and motivations in the self hating Germany of today. I recommend it and all the books in the series. If you have a taste for science fiction and the military, Ringo, who is an Airborne veteran, will make you very happy. Also the way Baen Books does business is pretty radical(in a very good way).
