The American chick in the bandanna streaked about two months ago during an Olympic qualifying match in Tampa. A couple of weeks ago, she showed up in Playboy. Not a bad turnaround from a $500 fine to a Playboy spread.

Since y’all love soccer so much, I thought I’d remind you that the U.S. plays England Wednesday, 3PM, on ESPN Classic.

I agree in years past it was a snooze fest. Thats because as soon a team got the lead they would just pass/kick the ball killing time.

The recent World Cup in 2006 in Germany was excellant. The players are bigger and stronger and “fill the field” in much more than the old days.

Give it another look you will be surprised.

I think there has to be at least a minimal emotional attachment to at least one of the teams when watching soccer. I play; my daughter plays competetively. I go to many U.S. matches.

However, if it’s not a US, English or World Cup game, it can be boring.

Certainly not as boring as NASCAR though. Just kidding.
