Lived in maricopa….sheerif joe is the man,isnt the first time the state has “hindered”him,if he beleives in it,he will find a way to do it.When he was first elected,he asked for some money(cant remember how much,but it was a huge amount)to build a bigger jail,cause of over-crowding…they said “No,make due”so he turned around got 4-5 military tents from luke air-force base…..put em up aroung the jail,but a fence around it,and he had his bigger jail.Jail was looseing money because inmates were walking out with underwear and socks(dont know why you would want their undeis back)so ol joe died everything pink,even ending up MAKEING money selling pink underwear and socks.He was spending un-godly amounts of money on food…state didnt wanna increase the amount spent,what did he do?they get water,and day old bologney samaches(free from the store,cause the expo date expired,still good food,just legally couldnt sell it anymore)when he took office the re-offense rate was 30 some percent,after all his joeism’s,it about half that.Dude should run for president.

Remember, government that’s the closest to home is what the Founders warned us we should try to achieve.

People can’t take what you have away unless they are giving it, or they come in force. Sheriff is a County job, just about as local as it can get; good for Joe.

However, there’s a little opening, here:

Napolitano ‘needs’ the funding for something else, supposedly, that will allow her to enforce warrants outside of Maricopa County. OK, fine; 200,000 people sending $5 each gets Joe his funding, but now…Napolitano has to perform. She can’t disappear her program if Sheriff Joe keeps performing, even after she cuts the funding.

It’s actually a chance to get her to have to at least pretend to use money for enforcement, plus keep Joe in business.

I’ll give $5, for the good of local government. I’m pretty sure another 199,999 Americans would give $5, just to make the statement.

Arizona needs to start a grass roots campaign and recall their govenor like was done to Gov. Davis (D) in California.

Michelle Malkin’s site has an article about North Carolina no longer allowing illegals in degree programs at their community colleges. Towns, counties, It’s gotta be done at the local level, and the current crop of politicans, FROM BOTH PARTIES, need to be held accountable for their voting records on this issue. NO Amnesty!!

I’m all for a do-over regarding the 3 POTUS candidates. This is going well beyond just holding your nose, and voting for the lesser of evils. Time for new primaries, and no cross-over voting allowed.
