How ironic that both conservatives and liberals use the word “unbelievable” to describe the progress in Iraq (albeit with two entirely different inflections).

  2. just posting

annoying anchors, props to yon

Can’t stand the broad. Where’d she learn diction from? Jane Fonda? Gezz, with all the money Murdoch has you’d think he’d hire someone with some personality on that show.

Yon rocks as usual. The media doesn’t give a damn about Iraq unless the news is bad. Good news just exposes the lies of Madam Klintonista, Hairy Weed and the rest of the media douche bags who’s agenda is replete with hate-Bushisms and the rantings of trash like Keith Overbite.

Damn liars have been pulling this shit since VN. What’s it going to take to stop them? A civil war?

The anchors not withstanding, at least fnc is willing to get and interview some one at the forefront of reporting from the trenches like Yon.

If I recall correctly, Rumsfeld told us that it might take 5 years to get the Iraqi army up to muster to handle their own affairs and we seem to be real close to realizing that goal. Bush needs to get on the stick and make sure this progress is trumpeted loud and clear from his bully pulpit in order to stunt the “get out now” crap coming from the dhims. Otherwise we might find a hillary or barry administration taking credit for winning Iraq with full complicity and glowing praise from the msm…

I can in fact suddenly imagine a narrative like this:

Obama becomes president and SUDDENLY, we are winning in Iraq!

It’s possible that they will spin his victory as the walking on water moment that saved Iraq, not US soldiers and hard work and enormous sacrifice. No, the eloquent elocutions of our transcendent Obama will have won the day!

And since troops will be already drawing down, he can take credit for pulling out and winning. Similarly to how Clinton took full credit for the economy that he had nothing to do with in the nineties.

The scenario of the people and politicos who fellated our enemies during the darkest days in Iraq and led to more of our people being murdered by some of the move vile sub-humans to populate the 21st century… These same scum might suddenly be taking credit for the victory being secured despite their fellataing…well it may be the sickening truth.

Never mind the troops. Never mind the politicians who fought back failure. Never mind that people like Murtha and Kennedy fueled Al Queda’s lust with open talk of defeat of the best military in human history at the hands of people who do not comprehend working toilets.

(Go back, if you will, to headlines and op-eds in the earliest days of the invasion of…Afghanistan. The word “quagmmire” appears then. The comparison to Vietnam is there, that early. They lusted for a US defeat at the start. Instead of invading Afghanistan and killing the Taliban/Bin Laden, they hoped we might savor a moment more that a few Europeans felt a dollop of compassion for us after 9/11, as if their pity were a feast and 9/11 an opportunity for a psycho-babble tear-fest rather than an act and a call to war.)

“Obama’s magic heals Iraq.” Cover of NY Times. Look forward to that meme because the success in country will be a ripe fruit for that self aggrandizer to pick and eat by the time he might be sworn in.

Our democrat politicians have no shame, as hillary exposed to her own people in the last few days. Obama has done worse than she with his words of comfort and support to Al Queda.

He refers to McCain being Bush’s third term.

    Obama is Jimmy Carter’s second.
