Jindal does not see race as an issue. He sees hardwork as what separates “the men from the boys.”

As to the Louisiana rhetoric and rebuilding verbage, as governor he has to do this, put his state upfront and center as successfully recovering, please help, but we are can do people and winning the fight.

In a debate, Obama goes down in flames vs. Jindal. His verbal jousting skills are superb, and always positive. Even when he points out negativity, he does it with a smile.

During Katrina, he was on the front lines arranging aid between the sheriffs of the state. He was making decisions for fed agencies, telling them that he would take the fall if the adminstrative shithead mid level turds would get pissed. When the locals in the Chalmette area needed supplies that the state or feds where just letting sit and rot, he got them delivered, even though this was not his congressional district (it was a Dem’s). Heck he even swamped the local boy (Boasso) running for governor in his own backyard.

Thanks for your personal insight regarding Governor Jindal. This is the first time I’ve heard him speak and I am very impressed with his patriotism and eloquence. As to Gerry Rivers, he can kiss my all American, freedom loving, gun toting, liberal hating ASS!!

He is the REAL DEAL, we need a true conservative and Bobby Jindal is absolutely that and brilliant!

Secondly, Jindal is a problem solver. In every job he has held he has gone to the core problems, and taken them on. This country has problems; McCain has big problems. I hope McCain has sense enough to bring Jindal on board. Too bad for Louisana, but good for the country–and good for the GOP (nationally) to see that there are some smart and capable young Conservatives.

If it weren’t for McCain’s common sense about our enemy, his military know how, and possibly electing to SCOTUS during the next term, I would consider him liberal lite.

The story of how he returned to Louisiana was related to me by one of Gov. Foster’s lobbyists last week. It differs from the media version. He related about how when Foster was trying to decide on a new director of DHH (Department of Health and Hospitals.) Jindal, who became a lobbyist in DC after post grad studying government at Oxford, turning down Law School AND Med school at both Harvard and Yale where he had been accepted. Jindal found out that the job was open and submitted a resume directly to the governor outside of the search team. He flew down to Baton Rouge, and was waiting in a next door office during a review meeting by the team with Foster. Foster asked one of them to go interview this “kid”, he returned five minutes later and said, “We’ve got to get someone that knows a lot more than me, he has questions that I completely don’t understand.” He was so far above everyone’s heads that the same request kept being repeated by the interviewers, who all ended up being the interviewees and overwelmed. So he got hired. Cleaned that shithole department up, then moved on to clean up administration of higher educations as well before going to DC to work as an assistant sec under Bush.

The media version is that Foster and his search team found Bobby in DC and asked him to take the job.

When JIndal lost to Blank Zero (Blanco) the first time he ran for governor he refused to believe that it was the color of his skin that killed him in North Louisiana. He spent the next few years making regular trips up there and speaking to white fundamentalist Christian churches so they could know what he stood for up there. They voted him hands down in right in the backyard of one of his competitors, Campbell, for the gov. job up there as well.

Undoubtedly, Jindal wants to become president one day. If he doesn’t think that running as VP will get him there he will decline, if offered. He has a number of election cycles to run for the top spot ahead of him. While he is patriotic towards the country and his state, he is very calculating.

And YES! He is one heck of a problem solver. He has shown that he can make command decisions in the field, as well as executive decisions and stand by them. This is something that every Marine should understand to be a most invaluable form of leadership.

Jindal has only been La governor for about 5 months. Thus, he is too new for the vp slot. However, the most corrupt state in the Union and the third world of the US, Louisiana, really needs him more than the US needs him, at least, until 2012.
Some years ago, he stated that he wanted to be US president. He is a good man. He is not anything near The Obamessiah. Indeed, he just might make it and achieve his desire.

Certainly, the nation could do way worse than Jindal. Just look at the upcoming prez election (McLame bad; The Obamessiah an utter Marxist disaster waiting to be inflicted upon the US). Yikes.
