What the hell kind of camera work was that?
June 5th, 2008 at 7:58 pmIt’s ridiculous to lose one plane and the impact on the fleet is like Schwienfurt.
June 5th, 2008 at 8:16 pmSprit of Kansas, RIP. I was partying with a bunch of those B-2 pilots in Guam about a month or two before this happened. That cameraman needs fired.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:07 pmIt’s some sort of security camera, there’s no way a human being can hold a camera that still unless they have the expensive equipment they use in movies.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:24 pmWatch next to the right engine just forward of the intake before he over rotates.. Youll see a flash of white and then youll see several bright flashes exit the rear of the aircraft.
The engine on that side probably shredded. I know I’ve read that some people where trying to claim pilot error here.
I got news for you.. The computers on board wont let you stall the plane. you physically cant do it.
The lack of power after the plan pitches up also is indicates a power plant issue.
June 5th, 2008 at 11:10 pmGround the cameramanwoman.
June 6th, 2008 at 4:05 amI don’t know what happened, but those flashes are from the ejection seats, blowing the canopy prior to launch.
June 6th, 2008 at 6:02 amI agree, engine failure caused the stall
June 6th, 2008 at 6:26 amEngine failure at 1:59 at start of rotation. Thank God for ejection seats!
